*1:58* Just by looking at the ways it calculates and displays numbers, I can guess that mechanically, it works much like those big and old soviet mechanical calculators. I know because I have one at home. Despite being nearly a century old, it works like a charm.

it's always crazy to see things like this. i tend to ignore the redstone side of minecraft, so seeing redstone machines that use real life engineering concepts makes me appreciate this game so much more. brilliantly done, this was a great project!
