In general love your reviews. But I think you should test the earbuds in real environments outside of the studio

The largest improvement for me is the almost total elimination of the hiss/white noise in transparency mode. I feel like I can leave them in transparency all the time now like I do the AirPods Maxs.

after 3 years of using pro 1'st I can definitely tell the difference in both ANC and sound quality. a good upgrade to be honest and well worth the price from my view.

I had the original pro’s for three years and loved them. These were an obvious upgrade for me and I was pleasantly surprised with how much better they sound in all aspects. Plus, the new ones charge reliably in the case. Old ones were a crap shoot.

Although it might seem like small improvements over the gen 1, in use they feel so much better. Everything is improved about them and it makes them so much better. Loving mine.

In case anyone was curious, I recently tried the new extra small tips on the first gen and the tips fit just fine. I didn't try wearing them in my ears, but they seemed to fit and held just fine, so if you just wanted the XS tips, they do fit the first gen AirPods Pro.

The bass is greater, at the cost of muddying up the lower mids unfortunately. I wasn’t wowed like it had hoped from the originals. The mid range is definitely in worse shape from this with many things being pulled back.

5:05 You'd sound worse when you are outside. Other tests have shown that although you block out more background noise, you still sound more muffled.

the bass on APP2 is more mid-bass thump than the OG. I can hear the ANC changes when no music is play, kinda makes me feel like I have stuffy head cold. APP2 is excellent for watching movies bc the bass is stronger.

I'm actually really happy to get apple watch charger support! I wear my watch at night for sleep tracking so my charger would be free to charge my pods overnight!
