Easiest way to tell is if the light is indented and doesn’t have a grey film over it when turned off.

You can also shine light through the top cover to find out which one is real . The real one will have components but the fake one will one have the part of the hinge

Dont go for looks. The big difference is with noise cancellation and transparency mode so always try them out before buying (especially if buying second hand)

Another way is to use your phone flashlight and shine it at the case the real one will have hardware underneath and the fakes don’t.

Mine were certified they were 28$ don’t knock it until you try it. My iPhone was able to bypass it

the text in my lid are different 😭 but they connect like airpods and my iphone can recognize them as actual airpods so they have to be real
