Two safiya videos in 8 days?? Best thing to happen all year!

I love how you guys took time to explain that you weren't being disruptive on the plane by recording too loudly. In an era where influencers are increasingly disregarding others around them, Saf and Tyler remain our respectful faves

The fact that Safiya and Tyler have been together for over a *DECADE* now & he *_STILL_* hypes her up like that is truly couple's goals
In the engagement video, which released in December 2018 (which was essentially 6 years ago now), Tyler said they had been together for over 4 years. That means they would've gotten together sometime before December 2014, which was a decade ago

If you're wondering about the route the plane took it's because ever since the war in Ukraine started, Russian airspace became effectively closed off to many countries, so now many flights to/from Asia have to take different routes. Not all countries or routes are subject to this (you can hop onto any flight tracker website to see the differences).

if you saw someone sleeping with his head stuck up an ostrich pillow - yes you did 😌

The economy seats? The consideration of others for noise and space? The alien head ostrich pillow?? Tyler’s genuine adorable reaction to the curls??? 15/10, this inspired me to drink water and finally use the under eye masks that’ve been tucked in a drawer for … perhaps years

Flight attendant here, pro tip : you have to put on your socks when you get out of bed at home so your legs are the least bloated. When you put them on after standing and walking for a very long period of time (commuting to the airport, and then standing in line for a long time waiting for the plane) it's way less effective ;)
Always loved your videos <3 !!!

I HIGHLY recommend asking for a cup with some hot water and then just sniffing the steam it REALLY helps with the cabin air

it’s really refreshing to see a creator sit in a normal seat 😭😭😭 like the flights are already expensive thank u social media for making me feel like even more of a plebeian

One of my favorite things about Safiya and Tyler is that any time one of them says something silly, the other always responds. I've been learning more about bids for connection within a relationship, and I think they exemplify that beautifully :-) Sending much love to you both and anyone else lucky enough to have someone!

One time when I flew from Wew Zealand to China on a China Southern flight, they actually played an inflight video a couple of hours before landing that was a whole stretching routine that had been designed to be done while sitting in a plane seat. I had never seen so many people pay so much attention to an inflight announcement video or follow along so eagerly to something that was basically optional exercise.

Honestly, shout out to Saf and Tyler for taking the flight in Economy. The could have done Business class easily, but they're of the people!

As a pilot I always wear those long uv protection arm sleaves and sunscreen. You get blasted by UV when your flying because you are that much closer to the sun. Compression socks and hydration are also a must. Good job on touching on the dry air up at altitude because yes, while the air is fresh in the cabin, it is very dry! Hydrate before you feel thirsty!

8:20 so thoughtful. Not disturb other passengers and their privacy by blurring face. Thank you for doing this extra step

I just have to say I think Tylor is great. Not many men behave so kindly. When he said your hair looked pretty, it felt so genuine. That is so rare.

7:54 I’m SO glad you clarified this early on because I’m a bit sensitive when I fly to all the chatter and noises and announcements around me… I was initially thinking that it would be SO annoying to have someone talking at full volume next to me during an 18-hour flight 😅 but you’re considerate people and I shouldn’t have assumed!

Pharmatech here with a certificate in compression socks from Germany. They compress your legs nicely and help your venous valves close properly and thus help blood circulation to function as intended. We use them for that reason.

To explain, arteries are having thicker walls and a thicker muscle structure to them as pressure is high when blood travels through them. They can compress themselves again after blood went through them and rarely widen. They also can somewhat push blood.

Veins cannot do that as their walls are thinner, especially in their muscle structure and thus need valves to keep blood from pouring back down to your legs. Not only that, but because they have thinner and less strong walls, veins can widen over time, meaning the valves cannot close properly and blood cannot be pushed back up again from deep down within your legs.

Blood then is trapped in your legs and feet, wich leads to water seeping through the veins and accumulating in these areas.

The accumulation can lead to blood clots forming in your veins, wich then can travel up all the way to your lungs and cause a pulmonary embolism.

This can also happen for people with weak hearts, especially the right heart side.

This is why my co-workers and I always remind many of our patients to please truly wear their compressions socks every day and take their blood thinners.

Btw compression socks are high-tech socks. Their highest compression is around the ancle area and lessens the higher up the leg they go. ☆ They are pretty neat. For travelling, compression socks with compression class 1 are the best. Elderly usually get CCL2 or sometimes 3. They have even higher compression then the ones you are wearing.

In any case, they are needed and help many each and every day. ♡

I don't know how to translate some key words tbh, but I hope you understand me. haha

i actually really needed a test video like this lol - as a crew member who does work on 90 day fiance we do travel the world and at times, on super long flights. the neck pillow, face mask/ face routine, and mouth wash seem honestly the most worth it to me!
