I remember when I first started playing I was so into the game that I spent 6 HOURS picking flowers and hitting trees before even thinking of going to the main story. Also remember spending like 100 to 200 hours just travelling before doing anything to progress the story.

Before, when I was AR 15ish, I skipped the archon quest in monstat and went to go for all the waypoints and statues. Got an easter egg: if you get to places like Sumeru, The Casmn, or Liyue harbor when you’re low level or AR, under the title where it pops up when you get to a new place, it’ll say “extremely dangerous”. Even places where there are no monsters

I remember I used to be SOOO insecure abt my damage (I was AR50 And my characters still didaround 2000-3000 dmg) I used to grind so hard and got tired of genshin quickly, so remember to take things at your own pace, never be insecure abt Ur dmg❤

I will also add: don’t get over fixated with the game, specially with the artifact part. Farming the “perfect” artifacts can be quite the mental exhausting task. I had to quite the game for several months cuz it’s just sooo tiring. Genshin, at the end of the day, is a relatively easy game, and you don’t need all rolls in CD or CR just to keep an artifact. Put your mental health above everything else, and remember that Genshin is a game, not a job 😊

that last tip was actually so nice to hear cos as an ar59 player i literally have nothing else to do 😭 all my areas are 100% (and more . i need every primo for scaramouche), i have less than 10 fragile resin which im saving for future artifact domains, and all i can think of doing besides wait for patch event updates is.... farm for local specialties and enemy drops ><

oh my gosh number 9 is so true!! When I first started playing genshin, I would level up ALL of my characters. Even the ones I don’t like because I always thought to myself, “one day you’ll need them” and wasting my xp cards (I don’t pay attention on what they’re called) on my characters that will never be used and then when I need to level up one of my main ones, I have none left 😂

Jokes aside, the last tip is truly the most important one because it let's you enjoy the game a lot more. I hope that the new players will understand this.

It's a good idea to start spiral abyss early on. First 5 floors can be done quite early on and you get two free characters now by doing the earlier ones. You obviously don't need to do it right away, but it's not something you need to put off either.
I think that's the only thing I disagreed with here

i’m at 6:08, and i haven’t seen one for my tip yet! so my tip is that you should collect all the mail you receive, because i just realized that you get a lot of primogems from that! you can pull more characters! :3

As a late game player from 1.6 I wanted to say the last point is the truest for me, if you rush everything you’re not going to fully enjoy the game when you’re done with it, I’m still ar 57 and have most regions with low percentage of explorations which I don’t regret because I’m still enjoying the game
