So i am not the only one collecting flowers and fruits. Eventually I also started enjoying cooking and fighting random monsters who dare to cross my path. I am at level 18 and enjoying the grass and sky and fights.

update : i am now AR43 and my highest damage dealer is at ATK 1.7k. I still feel underpowered lol

update 2 : just hit AR50 two days ago, world level 7, with two main damage dealers up my sleeves both at 2.3k and 1.8k at this time. Still need to beef up the last artifacts both with atk%. But im glad to say that lvl90 monsters don't intimidate me anymore LOL

I dropped Genshin when I was AR30 and started picking it up again a few days before Inazuma started. I was playing blind and hardly did any quests aside from the Archon quests because the story was interesting, but then my friend who's at AR56 taught me so many things that I've been missing.

Hello! I've returned 5 months later to share little tidbits for all the newcomers for the game! I'm currently AR55 so I've learned a lot compared to last time, *so here are some tidbits I'll note down in a much neater and simplified fashion:*

-There are 2 different leylines: Blue (for level up materials) and Yellow (for mora)
-Do not let your resin cap! Use them to beat bosses and domains so they never stop refilling.
-Invest into your character's talents, your power level will increase by leaps and bounds
-You can unlock all domains at AR45!
-Consider collecting all the anemoculi and geoculi as soon as possible to increase your max stamina. Use an anemoculus/geoculus detector to detect the last few ones you can't find, which you can craft once reaching a certain reputation level in Mondstat/Liyue.
-Genshin Impact interactive map will save you a lot of trouble when farming. Unfortunately, it's not linked to your genshin acc so you'll have to checkmark things by hand. Saving your progress in an account does help though!
-Consider investing in an NRE. It basically puts food in your hotbar spot so you don't have to open your inventory to eat food
-Regarding artifact and character builds, the general rule of thumb is to find artifacts with crit rate/crit dmg. Avoid flat HP (basically not HP%), flat ATK, flat DEF, and DEF%.
-Good crit rate/dmg ratio is 1:2
-Try and aim for at least 50% crit rate
-For geo characters, you don't really need elemental mastery
-For anemo characters, you definitely need elemental mastery (esp if they're supports)
-Read through your character's attack descriptions to see if they scale off of anything. If they do, invest into whatever they scale off of. (Ex: Barbara’s healing scales off of her max HP, so invest into some HP% artifacts)
-Watch some videos about building certain characters! Some characters have some niche builds and aren’t as straightforward as others, so look at what the guides recommend. Alternatively, look into an AR55+ acc and see what builds they use for their characters and use them as a base for your own character.

7 months later, AR57 stuff I've found out or forgot to add:

-On the map, if you see a white arrow on a pin to your destination, if it points up, that means your destination is above you. If it points down, it's below you.
-Overloaded dmg ignores crit, and scales off of elemental mastery. It ignores target's DEF but instead its pyro resistance.
-If you swirl an element, there will be an element that will be prioritized more than the other. The order is pyro > hydro > electro > cryo. Ex: If there are enemies that are inflicted by pyro and cryo, when you swirl, it will swirl pyro. Dendro and geo does not swirl.
-There is now something called an "attribute/talent reference" for your artifacts and talents! If you're not sure which artifacts to slot into your character or which talent to upgrade first, look at the top right of your screen and you will see the attribute/talent reference. For artifacts, it will show a recommended attribute slot for that character and artifact. For talents, it will show the recommended order to upgrade your talents.
