How i started genshin ..forget quest .. i just roam all around the map lol .. picking up things without knowing what they are used for

Another tip: there's a quest from the blacksmith from Monstadt that will ask you to go to stormterror's lair (can't remember if it's stone mining) after that, he will mark a good mining area in the map.

NEVER SPEND PRIMOGEMS ON ORIGIN RESIN!!
Fragile Resin restores 60 origin resin, and you get them consistently as adventure rank up rewards.
Unlike Mtashed, most of us aren't spending $600 on this game, and primogems can be used on fates for wishes and, honestly, should be the only use for Primogems. From characters to weapons, there is always a use for wishing.

The first one he speaks of "The Ice one" can be reached by gliding from the hill top as well ( way faster) with 180+ stamina and a food item to lower Energy of gliding by 20%. there is also a mission on that Island, so look around and have fun!

TIP: you can still use your characters EVEN when their on an expedition. so if you have chongyun or keqing, you can use their ability that reduced time when in a expedition in liyue
