He just makes things easy to grasp and understand.

Thank you, Professor Niel.

He knows more about the Universe than most do about their homes.

If I didn't have the language barrier I would probably understand what he says way better but his accurate and simplified explanation can still help me understand in a surface level

This is the best version of NDT.He is actually educating and not talking down to or over the other person .He should be like this more often.

Bro, helium has more mass than hydrogen

It’s early. There are no Neil Haters on here yet with nothing better to do than their mission to misconstrue what he is saying.

A Helium atom doesn’t have less mass than a hydrogen atom.

Hydrogen is the lightest element.

A Helium atom has less mass the 2 hydrogen atoms - which have undergone thermonuclear fusion.

The difference in mass becomes energy expressed as heat and light.

This makes so much sense to me that it makes me think I should have paid attention in class

Neil just explains it so well, even numptys like myself can follow it.

Jupiter would need at least fifty to seventy times its current mass to become even a brown dwarf/small star, Neil. 😊

When I was a kid I used to wonder if we could have kicked it off with a match.

Binary(2-3 Stars) star systems are actually a lot more common than single star systems, 85% vs 15%, so imagining that Jupiter would have been a star if conditions were slightly different during the birth of our solar system isn't much of a stretch at all.
