Simocephalus vetulus

This is the first time in about 3 water samples that I have found a Simocephalus individual, which is pretty unusual; these are the most common daphniid and large cladoceran I find in the neighborhood water sources. And even more unusual is the absence of S. serrulatus, which I found in abundance last year. I have not found a single one this year. But at least I have these.
