I drank a whole bunch yesterday for my joints. I feel incredible today. My knees have been bugging me for the last two weeks (I’m a hairdresser) and now it doesn’t hurt to bend down. Thank god.

• one cup of blueberries
• 6 strawberries

I love cherries! Cherries are in season now at the local markets, which makes me happy as a runner with muscle pains. Thank you so much for sharing, coach Elizabeth!

Just had to share my experience with tart cherry extract after watching this video! I've been using Rawya brand for a few weeks now, and the results are amazing! 🙌
What really blew me away is the noticeable improvement in my sleep quality. I used to struggle with restless nights, but since taking tart cherry extract, I've been waking up feeling refreshed. I've also noticed less post-workout stiffness, allowing me to push harder during my next session. I did my research before trying it, and the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of tart cherries are no joke! It's become a staple in my daily supplement routine, and I can't recommend it enough. When I run out of tart cherry extract, I always keep a supply of Berrilys dried tart cherries in stock—easier for me to reach. I take around one handful of cherries, and it truly regulates my sleep cycle.

Non-alcoholic beer drank before and after marathon also reduces inflammation and lowers uti risk. NAB contains polyphenols as does TCJ.
Also it has been shown that while TCJ may improve sleep (does not cure insomnia) in older adults it’s affect is probably not greater than melatonin.

Hello Coach Elizabeth, this is really ironic, after your last video about Tart cherry juice I have been looking out for it ad couldn't find it any where in the UK. Last week I found a cherry juice in a health food store that I go to, I was going to asked you about it after watching the video and then realised when you said Montmorency cherry juice and realised that is what you were talking about on here. Plus since I have been using it since last Sunday, that's a great build up to a race I have this Sunday. So again thank you for another great tip.

Am mid-70s and YouTubing for celery and black cherry advice for lowering /dissolving uric acid crystals in gout. Learned a lot from your video. Thank you. I want to avoid long term steroids, the solution advocated by my pill-pushing GP. As a sleep aid the montmorency cherries might even free me from light-dosage amitriptoline. Ya think?

So what would be the downside to drinking tart cherry juice during my summer mileage training?? I’m at 60 miles per week and peaking at 70 late August.. should I not drink it until races come around?

Cheribundi Tart Cherry Juice, which is made with Montmorency cherries, recommends an 8-oz serving immediately after a workout. But this video recommends only 1 oz 2x/day. Any guidance on which to follow? Thanks for any help...

I'm using Black Tart Cherry juice for my arthritis/arthrosis (fingers)... It drastically minimized it. Great video! Thank you to The Run Experience videos and Couch Elizabeth. It is always important to learn more about our better options in life. Now I'm going to make sure to get Montmorency!
All the best, Kristie Miyamoto
