WHY?
Well I booked one of the top 5 star cruises that travelled the main areas of Lan ha bay, Cat ba and Ha long bay in order to find out whether the expensive price is actually worth it. I heard many mixed reviews about the world famous heritage site and wanted to find out for my self if it is still worth visiting or is there better areas now? And does it make a difference by doing it on a 5 star cruise?

Hi Jack. That boat trip was looking lush. i am very like you out of my comfort zone when things are bit on the posh side. i would be frightened to make a mess lol. Brilliant vlog as always and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Nope i didn't yawn lol shame about the rubbish in the water, but it worked to your advantage with the jacuzzi to yourself

So awesome Jack, the velvet room looking lush. The scenery doesn't look half bad either. When I'm flush with money like you I'll have to give the cruise lifestyle a go! Great way to break up backpacking.

Lan Ha Bay is way more beautiful and cleaner Ha Long Bay. It's a shame that trash is all over the heritage.

What an upgrade...lol. Great video Jack! Having to stay so close to the boat seems like a bit of a buzz kill.
Would a Kayak have served you better than the bamboo boats? Seems like it would be a great place to explore on your own.
