Things designed and built in that era were so classy, elegant, and a work of art.

There are bullet trains, electric trains, but the steam train is definitely the most beautiful and legendary and awakens passion and nostalgia. Its sound is a symphony of steam engineering. With its sound it tells us that it was the first to move the world.

There’s something about the sound of a train that brings out the child in all of us.

That is a sound, that when you stand close by it is felt in your soul. A sound you will remember always.

My father worked for the railways here in Italy, one of the best memories I have is when on Sunday mornings he took me to the station in our town to watch the steam trains go by. That sound was and is pure magic, he passed away a year ago., trains always bring me his memory R.I.P dad i love you.

I stayed with my grandparents every weekend when I was little. They lived near the train tracks that cut through the center of town. Hearing those trains were so much comfort to me as a child. I felt safe.
I loved getting "stuck" at the RR crossings by a train when trying to get over main street. Now when I hear these majestic trains again I can revisit those wonderful memories of my special times with two people who loved me the most. Thank you for this sweet trip down memory lane❤

OMG, how magnificent! My dad worked for the railroads from age 17 until he retired, and I grew up loving steam trains. I’m old enough to have ridden many times on the Pennsylvania Railroad trains before they merged with NY Central and I can still remember the old station in Philadelphia, which is long gone. I can still smell the corduroys seats In the passenger cars and hear the sound of the engine hissing as it idled in the station. Oh, to repeat that experience one more time!

Thank you for posting this fantastic steam loco. The sight & sound pierces my heart, reminding me of our steam trains in UK, in my youth. Love & respect, Jean 81yrs.

My nana had a train track that ran behind her house. The conductor used to throw us toys and candy when he passed. Such great memories. Thank you ❤

The steam engine is the most soulful and honest machine man ever invented. Every time I see clips like this, a tear comes to my eye .

I'm 85. What a time that was . . . This choked me up. In just those few seconds, that magnificent beast was accelerating - uphill . . .

When I was a kid my dad took us on on a steam engine run, it was about 7 hours round trip and it was amazing! We were in the first car behind the engine and came home with dirty hair and soot on our faces and loved every minute of it! ❤❤❤ We actually got to go into the front with the engineer (All the kids on the train were invited up front.) and he let us each ride a couple of miles up there with him.... 50 years later I still remember the entire day.

Какой железный Жаль, что ушло всё это. Сейчас кругом пластик. А тот паровоз настоящий, качественный, сделан на совесть! 👍 Автору Спасибо за видео

A beautiful locomotive. The engineers who restored her are great technicians.
