Why No One Can Kill Calvinism

Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard to kill calvinism?

In this video, you’re going to learn why some Christians would want to do that in the first place, why it’s not possible to destroy reformed theology, and you might even become a Calvinist yourself.

#god #theology #calvinism

The Primary points to take away from Calvinism are as follows:

God’s Sovereignty over all things

Salvation is a Work performed by the Trinity

God’s Holiness is glorified through both wrath and mercy

Man is Dead in his sins, unable to come to Christ in faith because he is enslaved to sin

God chose a group of people to have mercy on in election

He sent Christ to purchase them with his blood

They were raised together with him to be seated at the right hand of power

Christ sends the Holy Spirit into time to seal us with the gift of faith

The Holy Spirit preserves us until the end

Mormonism still exists even though it's not true. The continued existence of a doctrine is not necessarily proof of its veracity.

There is only 2 religions in the world. Deeds or grace.
I know I received grace, I know what my deeds have gotten me.

The reason for this, is found in the Bible itself:

"Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10: 28).

May God bless you and keep you.

The thing that bothers me about Calvinism is that they talk about believers as if they don't have free will or choice, but that non-believers are treated as if they do. It isn't consistent. Either we have free will or we don't.

4  Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
For thou art the God of my salvation
The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Ps 25:4–5.

Herein is the truth: To correctly understand the Biblical doctrine of salvation, one must be led & taught it by God as salvation IS OF GOD. Insistence upon one's "free-will" ultimately lands that soul in the lake of fire. There's no offense in a Gospel that leaves salvation to man's decision. There is great offense (from unsaved man) in the Gospel wholly authored and completed by God, and His choosing as to who will be saved! If this truth offends you (and most on the internet, as well as most professing Christians, are deeply offended at this doctrine) it's because you are not of God. Perhaps, He will save you but, you are not there, yet.

Acts 17:30-31 NLT - God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. 31 For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

We don’t have to kill Calvinism, because it does nothing but embarrass itself consistently proving its idiocy (such as with the recent baalgate controversy and “vipers and diapers” sermon, but I digress.) false ideologies will always exist, and I only hope that the people who glorify the lie of Calvinism are truly believers who just chose a wrong outlook.

New subscriber here. I really appreciate your videos. I like tiur cadence and teaching style. Specifically your response to Leighton's Col 2:12 post debate video was great, your explanation of the definition of faith, not as something you do, but a response to something done in you, was helpful.

Calvin was not a Calvinist. He believed the instructions of predestination that Paul wrote.
No one has free will but God who sits on the heavens and does as he pleases.
Anyone that says they have free will is ignorant of truth. What people have is self will and that is what Gods plan
predestination is all about.

I don't need to erase Calvinism because God will erase the false doctrines of Calvinism. All I need to do is convert Calvinists out of Calvinism and bring them back to proper Christianity where you do not make God the cause of evil nor make him a person who unconditionally elects some to be save and others to be damned.

God will have mercy on whom he will have mercy and compassion on whom he will have compassion. I cannot fault Calvinists being zealous for God but i can rebuke them for false theology and doctrine. Reformed theology under those who believe in Calvinistic ideas are going to break apart because they continue to say stupid things like "putting your faith is a work" this is a quote Rogue Calvinist mentioned in his debate against Jason Breda proving that he does not understanding what it means that "putting your faith" is not a work as it is exactly as it says which is "putting your faith"

Hence putting your faith can never be a work. To put your faith is an act of free will.

I have a question for you. Calvinism believes all will, all choice comes from God correct? Does Calvinism believe all consciousness comes from God, or does it believe that our consciousness as humans is separate (given to us) from God?

Calvinists.. like Muslims are offended by a God who changes his mind, who negotiates with humans, who even repents of his own actions

A God who answers prayers, changes his plans in response to prayers … all this is an offense to the calvinists like it is the Muslims
It’s ironic the maker here speaks about not understanding spiritual things… he doesn’t understand them and has adopted a painfully simplistic puppeteer God like Allah

Men why do you protest against Calvinism. Actually God's dealing with man in salvation has always been Calvinistic. It is God who loves and elects his own, based on no merits of the creatures. We read the following scripture;

"the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt." Deuteronomy 7:6-8.

1. Is this not exactly Calvinism? Clearly is " the Lord has chosen thee ...above all the people that are upon the face of the face of earth." Why don't you protest about this, Aminians and the rest of you. One of the names of our God is the "God of Israel". Has that changed? Of course not, for he never changes.
2. His choosing them was not based on any special attributes about them. The reason for their choosing was this "But because the LORD loved you". Was the Lord obliged to love them? Or was it strange that he did not love and, therefore, not elect the other "people that are upon the face of the earth"? Why is it now strange that he does the same in the New Testament, as it were? Indeed Romans 9, upon which you stumble, is Old Testament scriptures.
3. Then the "blood sacrifices" offered by the "high priest" was never shed for the sins of the other "people that are upon the face of the earth" but only for Israel, the ones he "loved" and "choose". Is that not the limited atonement?

Out of the Chaldeans our God chose Abraham to be "the Father of many nations." Although there were many widows suffering from draught and hunger Elijah was sent but to one. Was God then unfair to the rest.
Is it not God himself who made "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil", a tree so poisonous that "in the day thou eartest thereof you shalt surely die". Is there any non Calvinist here to protest this sovereign act of our God? Yes he "has made ALL things for HIMSELF; yea, even the wicked for the evil day." Proverbs 16:4, and he rules all the thoughts and actions of men, Proverbs 16:1, "ye without sin".

Let us extend this "choosing" this "election" a bit more by applying to the "gifts of the Spirit". When our Lord choose the 12 apostles later, why did he chose those he did not? We read "But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit... as HE WILL". Our God is sovereign in all things.
Is it not that even in our natural lives God has determined all things for he says "who maketh blind, who maketh lame...? He has even determined where we live here on earth. Non Calvinists all that is in scripture. Me I'm in Africa, some of you in the US, others in China. Indeed, some are in lands filled with good, others are in war-torn nations. What did you DO for God to put you where you are? Of course, NOTHING! It pleased the Lord "according to the counsel of his own will."

Why would any Calvinists be concerned since they believe God decrees everything. If they are correct, God must decree this attempt to destroy Calvinism??

Kinda silly because the idea of free will is still very much alive in the church. But the main problem with Calvinism is the concept of eternal suffering. The doctrine of election/predestination only makes sense in light of the doctrine that hell is a finite event, not a place of eternal pain.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Matthew 23:37

The Calvinists must say this verse is false

God wanted to do something but couldn’t because his creatures resisted him

This idea offends the Calvinist I understand.. but it is in the Bible I’m afraid

The God of the Bible wants things but doesn’t get them

He repents

He changes his mind

He negotiates with his creatures

Calvinism doesn’t worship the God of the Bible
