What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video we are going over one of the Vaults famous vaults of Fallout, we have Vault 106!! This vault caused a lot of good people to go INSANE! I hope we have a better understanding lore of 106 with Fallout TV show now since it was referenced already

This affects you as well when you enter parts of it, you see hallucinations of your dad in fallout 3

i like how even if you enter this vault with a suit of power armor (which is implied to have a built-in respirator) you still get the hallucinations.

What I like about this Vault, is that it shows that clearly F3 was intended to be a prequel. This is because the drugs were pumped only 10 years after the vault was sealed, meaning that these psychotic vault dwellers have been breeding for over 200 years. Don't ask me how that works, cuz idk.

The drug actually intended to be released in few hours, supposed to be the first stage to adjust the amount exposes to test subjects. However, due to unforseen errors the drug was pumped out at max speed and pump control did not responsed to shutdown order, lead to the downfall of the vault. Some vault dweller luckily immune to the drug tried to dig a tunnel out but the tunnel collapsed and killes them.

I wish there was an ability to turn off the drugs being pumped over there and to see if the people were able to come down after a while

Thing is... this is 200 years after the vault door was sealed. But the drugs were released after 10 days. This would imply that despite being insane, they bred and somehow sustained themselves for several generations.

Wait, how are there people still alive in the vault 200 years later? There's no way the residents were coherent enough to have and raise children.
