Watched this sometime ago when in the middle of a quasi-remodel which has yet to be completed.  That said, it's time to get going (again) and I needed a little refresher on a few things.  Glad this and so many other of your videos are here for the watching, thanks soooo much... invaluable!!

Thanks for the video. It would be great to include details about size of bit used and size of each fastener (and how/why to choose one over another), type of bit used (Masonry, SDS, etc) as it seems you don't change bits, type of drill used (Hammer, SDS, and why), depth of cut required based on length of fastener, etc. Those details are really important and most DIYers wouldn't be able to answer any of those questions after watching this video.

for the straight talk instruction and demos you have provided, very helpful for those of us without a lot of experience.

You do a very good job at demonstrating projects, I have watched several of your videos and I am a Handy Man myself. Good vocabulary and straight forward. Thanks for taking the time to share your skills.

Thanks for the comments. For garage walls I use 1/2" anchors and place them 4' apart, and one about 12" from the end of every wall. For the tap cons I prefer the ones that have a hex head so I can use a nut driver. If your holes are not clean enough (dust in bottom) you can have trouble with any of these anchors, try drilling the hole then vacuuming or blowing out the holes.Good luck

I've watched several of the framing videos and, following Shannon's guidance, been able to frame out my basement! Had a friend run the electric for me, so now it's off to the sheet rock videos! Thanks for putting all these together!

Great demonstration on how to apply the anchors and also very important information for the motivated "Do It Yourselfers" .

The cheapest but best fastener we used on Bridge Construction was a 5/32" drill bit, rebar tie wire and a 3 1/2" common nail. This worked better than the high priced anchors we had but preferred this method.

the third type of anchor you used which is called expansion bolt or a through bolt, It does-not expand on hammering harder after it hits the bottom of the drilled hole but as you tighten it there is a lose leave on it which gets stuck and the cone shape tighten it further.
