My iPhone 14 pro max photos looks fine when clicking the picture and looking from camera, but after I take the photo and see it, after 1 or 2 seconds it auto processes it making the photo overly sharp and bright and ruining the photo, am I only one with this problem? Please somebody let me know.
Update: This is actually not a problem and a default feature/part that Apple calls The Photonic Engine and you can't turn it off, they think they're making the pictures look better 💀

Thank you. Turning off lens correction made taking very close photos a lot clearer.

I upgraded from 8Plus to 14Pro. Definitely the image quality is way different. But I kept noticing how 14Pro distorts the image too much, like it elongates subjects which are very noticeable if there are corners. Also it blurs too much, very irritating when trying to take photo of detailed subject.

I am not a fan of the camera auto enhance 😢 it’s not true to colour. My images of my make up swatches look dark now

Does anyone experienced the thing with 14 pro that when you click a selfie your face turn a bit black and it focuses on background more than it should do which makes photos worse!!!
Is there any edit which is needed to be done because I am really frustrated with it.

My iPhone 14 Pro camera is CONSIDERABLY worse than my 13 Pro, makes me frustrated that I’ve just spent £1100 for a downgrade, as the camera was the main reason I was “upgrading”

my issue is that on snapchat when I take really unclose snaps, the camera just gets so blurry

My iPhone 14 pro’s camera just doesn’t focus, I have been facing this issue from the very start.
The camera just doesn’t seem to focus when an object is near or far for that matter, at times it focuses but then it takes a lot of time.
Is it just me or are Everyone facing these issues with the new iPhone 14 pro series?

I just switched to a iPhone 14 pro and the biggest problem I have is that when I take a picture from insta with a filter it automatically blurs and fixes my face or the picture too much to the Point where it’s blurry and for some reason I don’t have the beauty mode on tik tok ?

Make a picture on in RAW and just crop a little on the sides, then you have the normal quality without the weird processing of the picture :)

Preserve Settings now has an option to preserve the Macro Control setting. So you can permanently have it off now without having to toggle it every time.

I went to a concert and there was harsh lighting, red and blue lights and the camera on Iphone14 pro max over saturated the picture, on zoom the video was out of focus and the video was over exposed. I saw others using a Samsung and the video was beautiful. There's something wrong with the Iphone 14 pro max over processing the video. I'm not happy and looking for how to turn off this post processing.
