I was trying not to drool while seeing all of this unpacked filaments on the background!

I would add a tip #7: don't be afraid to experiment! This is a computer file, just make sure to save often. I find the best way to learn anything is to poke and prod all the options to see what they do.

The best tip here by far is setting Fusion to Z up

5:02 Thank you so much! I assumed the sketch was removed after extruding, didn't know it was just being hidden.

Pertaining to Tip #6 don't forget about "Named Views". If you ever lose your model in 3D space and chances are at some point you will you can simply click on one of the Named Views to bring it back to it's default camera location. You can also create your own Named View, which is handy if there is a particular angle or area of focus you wish to return to repeatedly. For example you can set specific objects, sketches on or off and place the camera how you like and then create the Named View. Click it and it will return to it. Click a different named view and it will revert to that Named Views settings. You will never lose your model again.

Default Named Views are as follows: Top, Front, Right and Home where Home is the default view that F360 uses every time you open a model.

Edit: Oh, Named Views are located on the model tree between "Document Settings" and "Origin". You'll see it. Just click the triangle to expand the tree. To create a new Named View simply right click on "Named Views", but first make sure you have the model and all objects you want visible or invisible and the camera set where you want it before you create the new View. Give it a try and like if you you found this useful.

I got into 3D modeling not long ago, and I've been fairly successful, but the primer on intersections is going to take it to another level. Thanks!

I consider myself an intermediate amateur but I often pick something new up seeing how different people use this. The bonus tip made the whole thing worth watching. So simple but I had missed it, using home whenever I get lost. Thanx
