Things to know before you play a game
1. Just play the game and enjoy the game rather then worrying about being perfect

Biggest thing I missed in my first playthrough is that if you go to the map and press square on a location, you can see who is available to hang out with and whether they'll rank up. I manually checked everywhere first time through...

Also Kawakami's max ability is OP

80 hours of play? You need to pump that rookie number.

Another useful tip:

Level up Takemi’s (Goth doctor) confidant rank as soon as possible. After level 7, she will sell things for half price and offers SP Adhesives, equipment that can regenerate SP every turn for only ¥50, 000 per count. With these, you can break the game when it comes to palaces as conserving SP is a must, but with these, it’s a breeze.

Why are people whining about spoilers in the comments when it LITERALLY says "May contain Spoilers" right at the start of the video?

#10 tip for this game:
do not just rush through palaces, if you can get far enough warp through the save rooms back to an early part of the palace to get to easy and weak enemies so you can beat them up for cash, more then exp & especially in kamoshida's palace when you start off.
Use this to level up faster & also have the funds to buy personas to make new ones that correspond to your level so you can be stronger, especially when you unlock more confidants like sojiro, takemi (the nurse), & also buy cheap items at the vending machines.
i already made level 13 & still have about 8 days left to do more things before taking out Kamoshida.

God I just started playing this game which is my first persona game ever. I’ve always heard good things about it so I decided to try it. I feel so overwhelmed after seeing all the stuff to do in this game. Learning the combat systems, crafting, skill system, friend system, and the exploration. This is gonna be a crazy ride I guess.

For people saying there are heavy spoilers, as someone who has never played a persona game before I've watched a lot of videos on it to be sure I really want to get it. And I still do. As far as the spoilers, I didn't see anything that ruined the game for me at all. No "heavy" spoilers at all. I saw maybe one character I've never seen and some content I know can't be that big of a deal. If anything this review made me want to buy the game even more.

Using the auto-heal is a really terrible bit of advice.

I'm 100% new to Persona and I have no idea what was spoiled. But apparently it was something serious

Bring a matching arcana everytime you spend time with a confidant. Except Mishima and Toranosuke

Leave at least 2 days at the end of a dungeon so you can send out the calling card. Or you may be set back countless hours like me

I'm convinced everybody in the comments is only saying spoilers to be bitchy, I saw nothing in this video that I haven't seen in trailers and nobody seems to want to elaborate on what the spoiler is.

Gotta watch out for Auto-Recover though, its really wasting a lot of your SP without you knowing about it. Its still better to heal one by one if you're planning to be efficient in spending your SP. Especially for those who wants to finish a palace in just few days or short amount of time.

Never use autorecover. Worst tip ever. Using it wastes your valuable SP.

Never forget to use the third eye ability in dark areas the lighting shifts and enemies are highlighted so it help navigation.

BIG tip: Think you'll run into a particularly difficult or "special" enemy in mementos and need a bit of an advantage? Explore during flu season!

Best piece of advice I have is: Don't ignore Justine and Coriline's confidant. I pretty much completely ignored it only ranking it up when it was convenient so I didn't complete it my first play through. Having been my first Persona game and having played it blind my first time though I didn't realize how valuable some of the confidant abilities were like Kawakami, Chihaya, and Yoshida. Also be aware that there are some confidants that expire if you don't complete them by a certain date. Thus if you wait too long you won't be able to finish them.
