How to spin a bo staff - beginner bo staff

The bo staff has been a really fun quest to take on, I have been loving the connection I am able to develop with my body and this object. This is part of the 2D practice or static work, the 3D comes next where you are able to move in a 3 dimensional space with the staff. The practice has also lead me to practice fire spinning and many other disciplines that are similar to the staff.
