Top 10 Smartest Code Geass Characters

Some of these characters can be switched around, but this is the general top 10 characters I would consider to be the smartest within the context of the show. I didn't include people that weren't visibly shown to do anything smart regardless of their status. This list is based on what we can experience.

In my opinion Schneizel is much smarter than Cornelia. Everything else is true.

Honestly I’m on the fence for Cornelia and Schneizel, Cornelia was insanely smart, and she proved that in the early episodes, after all, she would have beaten Lelouch without CC, but Schneizel was proven to be Lelouch’s greatest rival throughout his entire life, not even being able to win in 1 chess game, but ultimately, I feel like the reason Schneizel didn’t win, was because of how much Lelouch knew about him, he knew he was willing to sacrifice the Floating castle(I forgot it’s name lol) Lelouch knew that he was willing to sacrifice whatever he needed no matter what it costed, which led to Lelouch’s win, I think Schniezel definitely could’ve won if Lelouch didn’t know so much about him, also, Schneizel didn’t really have a passion for fighting Lelouch, like Cornelia said, he wasn’t driven by the ambition or power Lelouch had, he was basically passionless, Cornelia said about Schneizel that he would’ve been a perfect ruler in a more normal world, as all he cares for is maintaining the status quo, I feel like Schneizel could have been a lot more dangerous if he actually had the passion for this that Lelouch did. However that’s just my take of it, I do believe Schneizel is Lelouch’s greatest rival, but I do also believe Cornelia was the closest at beating Lelouch.

I would swap the places of schniezel and Cornelia.

Also, by Nina einstien vs real einstien, I meant who is better. Both made atomic bombs in their world(nina made flieja by researching on nuclear fission, einstien discovered formula of atomic bomb with e=mc^2 formula). So I find them quite similar and they have same surname on top.

Also who do you think outsmarts? Maybe bad match ups.

Cornelia above Xingke and Schneizel? Very questionable, to say the least. After his first loss, Lelouch never loses to her again, and he even says that he was outprepped and would have won in a better situation.

Against Xingke, he literally says that Xingke is as good a strategist as he is, you can even make the case he is better than Schneizel.
So that's the difference, Lelouch loses to Cornelia and still says he's better. He loses to Xingke and says they're equal. And this is a more experienced Lelouch than the one that loses to Cornelia admitting Xingke is equal to him.
