The ball has been dropped in our culture . We are not raising our kids to understand the value of a family. The young men are not being raised to go out seek a wife, have a family, to lead and provide for his family. The young ladies are not being raised to wait for a husband, have his kids, and to take care of home. It’s crazy how our culture don’t have those values anymore.

There is no balance some women want complete control and some men want complete control. In a relationship we have a role we have to play and if people are not willing to do that. Stay single. A man does need a strong woman in his life. If something were to happen to him his wife should be able to carry the family and if something happens to her he should be able to carry the family also. Life does not carry what role you play it will happen and you have no control.

The problem is that men are already doing a good enough job enabling women's independence, when they want no part of their children's lives. I'm no way implying this is all men, but I've seen my fair share of dudes that don't want to be fathers. If we want this notion of independence to change to codependence, it starts with us!

People dont need to be dependent on someone else in terms of financially. Women being independent of men in terms of financially is not the problem. The problem is because women are making making they mind shifts to i dont need a man but really they want a man but dont need a mans money, but they need a mans companionship but they get confused because they income clouds the mind of rational thinking

You know what after raising two children nips ages 18 and 20.
I can surely see the negative effect not having a good man in my household was not a Good move at all.
I have a son and daughter, both needed that male honestly.
Women can’t raise children by themselves. It may have worked back in the years, but nope not any more.

I agree that we both can bring value to each other but in the mean time before a man comes along we have to support ourselves and who’s to say once we get in a serious relationship, he won’t need help… anything can happen and if a woman can step up and cover the finances in an emergency situation wouldn’t that bring more value to the relationship…. I just don’t like how people make it seem like being financially independent is a bad thing…..
