Abbey, PLEASE do a video on grey hair care. my hair went grey when I was very young and now in my 30’s I noticed it’s kinda more difficult for me to manage. the texture of my grey hair is completely different than my black hair. could really use some tips!

It would be amazing if you partnered up with an expert on textured/curly hair, and then did "best tips" together / or had a discussion in general - because you have a flawless hair type that can easily follow all these tops, whereas us girls with frizzy / curly / textured hair types can't exactly easily do all of these things.

I'm so confused on the k-18.
1)don't use preshampoo hair oil 30min prior to washing, as you would normally do, but not this time.
2)shampoo with a clarifying hair shampoo? Which one?
3)don't condition?
4)rinse hair, get out of shower. Gently microfiber dry it then air dry or towel wrap until just damp, then apply k18 to ends.
5)leave it in? Blowdry and style hair as normal? Or go back into shower and condition, rinse out, then dry and style?
A detailed video on this proess would be great! Unless you already have one that I missed?

Can you do a vid on leave-in conditioners?

Just and fyi the K18 is $80.00 before tax. I purchased it, I feel it’s a nice treatment but ultimately what needed to be done was a big trim fro my hair because of damage from dying it. My hair was 100 x better after a deep trim. I do like the K18 but it doesn’t compare to the simple trim I needed.

Can you please do a video going more in depth about why those styling brushes are so bad? And showing the healthiest way to blow dry? Love your videos 😊💕

Would you mind doing a short on how you “evenly coat” your hair with the color fanatic spray? Do you section your hair off? If so, how many sprays per section? Do you spray top and bottom of each section? I always feel like I’m using too much product. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, but I don’t want to waste product and money.

I need a wash day styling video! 🙂 how do you do your beautifully styled hair after it’s washed?

Because hair is not a living tissue with regenerative ability, it cannot heal and repair. You can use oils, conditioners, hydrolyzed proteins or other ingredients to disguise the issues temporarily but it's akin to using makeup on the face.

Could you maybe touch on when it's best to get a trim vs using bond repair products?

I have been using organic coconut oil from my childhood. I just use head and shoulders shampoos... no conditioner, no leave on or anything. My hair are very thick and strong, long and shiny even after coloring. I do balayage every 2 years without any hairfall or anything. I strongly believe these chemicals leave ons and conditioners and heating damages your hair. Coconut oil is heavy, but you can always do the shampooing twice. Bonus: no side-effects 🎉

Love all of this this! But I don’t understand the not brushing through wet hair or tangles. What’s the best approach? Let the tangles sit with leave-in conditioner in them and brush later or blow dry/air dry and then brush later?! 😅

I lost all my hair due to chemo a couple years ago. I'm still trying to grow it out. I've always had super long hair. I'm almost 40 now and I definitely have a receding hairline and hair thinning due to having 4 kids. I have about $100 worth of stuff you recommended in my Ulta cart. I'm just working up the courage to click that purchase button 😅

Hey Abbey! Love the video as always. I have a question! I think I might be using my K18 way too often and wasting product because of it. Did you ever use it more often than once a month? Like before your hair was in the awesome state it’s in now? I’ve been using it like every 3rd wash. I am back to having short hair again, it’s pretty healthy but it’s blonde so of course I have damage. I credit the lack of damage I have to k18. The product is a Godsend. I just want to know if I should be using it less often? It’s not cheap lol.
And now that I have shorter hair, how much I should use? Thank you ❤

Are these for low porosity hair or high porosity hair? I feel like, in these contents, creators should inform whether this would be appropriate for low or high porosity hair. I know Abbey never revealed her porosity but I tend to think she has high porosity hair bec from this oil to all the damage repair products she promotes are for high porosity hair

I'm sorry.I love you but I don't need to protect my hair w oil because I DON'T USE CLARIFYING SHAMPOOS. It's not one size fits all. I have extremely healthy HIGH POROSITY HAIR because it's both fine & curly. Porosity doesn't mean damage, sulfates aren't an engrained fear.. some people just don't deal well with it. I'll happily send you samples of my hair to look at under the microscope with no product in, because I appreciate you very much & I just want you to understand that not all hair is the same. 🤷‍♀️ You give phenomenal advice & I love almost all of your content. But I'd like to see you handle diverse ethnicities before making broad statements. Pretty please? Because when sulfate free shampoo became affordable, my hair grew out so healthy. I don't want a new trend where people become anti sulfate free.. not everyone needs it. 🙏 And the result is I can go without oil if I feel like it. But yes, I'm confident in your advice for this particular person.
