These campers need to move next to the city council members homes. That'll fix this shitshow fast. There's a reason they aren't in shelters or with family or friends. Go ask the hotels that we taxpayers are now funding what happens when these campers move in. Yes I am a hard-ass..but it's the same players in the same game and it's getting old.

Take them into your home. I'm sure there's a little room/space you can spare. Don't mind the drug use or addictions they may have.

Catholic Charities doesn't even understand the basic facts of this issue. I cover these homeless camps on my channel. Many living here absolutely do choose to live outside. That does not mean they're not in need of help--quite the contrary. But to misunderstand this point means missing how to best serve these individuals, often just exacerbating the problem.

These folks need counseling. Many need treatment or some other way to kick their deadly addiction. And, yes, they need housing. But know that many won't want to go because they prefer to live independently even if in a tent in MN winter.

We take in people from other countries. Give them brand new house or apt. Free food. Free medical. And we let our own suffer something wrong with our government

Have talked with and know some of these people...and many DO chose to live in a tent in the cold. Do any of these 'helpers/donators/enablers even realize this is a form of mental illness?

Encampment is the wrong term. They are not camping. It is an open drug market for illegal drug sales and use. She says no one would live in a tent in winter. Actually, meth addicts do choose to do that.

I suggest we move these camps to the backyards of these advocates

I believe there are several open rooms at the Governor's mansion.

There wouldn't be a homeless problem if everyone invited a homeless person to live with them.

Most of these people are homeless by choice. They have duped the general public for years about that. They don't want jobs or responsibility, but rather free money.

So you stole their belongings, clothing, and tents several times then left them with nothing. Now you're worried. I would be too. I'm surprised you can even sleep at night without them breaking into your homes.

These people are there by choice as they don’t want to deal with their addictions and mental illness.
