How does AMD’s new Ryzen 5 5600X compare against Intel’s Core i5-10600K? I’ve benchmarked games at 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions to show you the gaming differences.

I’ve also tested a number of other productivity focused applications at stock and overclocked, including 3D rendering and video editing software suites like Adobe Premiere. We’ll also compare temperatures and power draw to help you decide which CPU is worth it for the money based on what you need.

For 25$ more you get better performance in everything sometimes by a huge margin, Pcie gen 4 support on b550/x570 motherboards and a much lower tdp. AMD absolutely decimates intel.

The 5600X down right destroyed the 10600k...
AMD has practically taken Intel's reason to exist...
Intel better step-up their game...

I remember when ryzen was initially launched in 2017 everyone claimed it was destined to be doomed, fun times.

5600x is atleast 50% more expensive than i5 in EU.

125 watts for that i5? That's some power hungry thingy

The $25 difference is nothing if you're going for the overall

So in conclusion the Ryzen 5 5600X is much faster in gaming and workload while using less power and producing less heat. Ryzen is the easiest choice of all time.

But if you hate yourself get an Intel

Ryzen 5 was never meant to compete with the i5 but the i7 (for me). AMD is really onto something.

In Russia I was able to buy new box version of 10600kf for $200, when Ryzen 5600x starts about $400. And I am able to upgrade for 11700kf next year, for example. My advice to AMD fans is to wait for 5600 non-x version for $200-250, 5600x is not worth it.

I just want to experience what that could even feel like haha. need a TN panel 360hz etc monitor :D talk about no input lag feel :D This is the best review so far. By a long shot.

It's interesting to see the CPUs compared based on core/thread count. That's actually what I find the most intriguing.

But why literally every yt review i watch shows different numbers. Sometimes its like Intel is still better and sometimes AMD is far ahead???
