i’ve worked at republic before as a helper/loader it’s fun, you get tips and even larger tips for the holidays; i ended up taking at least $1k for the week of those holidays and hours of work i’d come home with almost $1k a week with 55 hours put in. they’ll even pay for your CDL if you want to decide to drive the trucks and get more money for doing commercials( such as front load, side load, or roll off) other than the driver side.. you’ll get in shape for being a helper/loader.

I’m glad to see that now women can actually do this kind of work thanks to the Automated System so 99.9% the drivers don’t need to worry about lifting trash’s cans like we did back in the day. Stay Awesome now young lady. I drove Shu Pak rear loader roll off and commercial front loader I did for 32 years. Retired now. Good luck stay safe out there.

I work in this industry in Chicago. They put in easily 65hrs - 75 hrs a week. Between 22-30 something an hour then crazy OT.

Man I i get 21.00 an hour but they give us safety bonus every 3 months & sign on bonus also every 3 month also, & I work 11-12 hours shift Monday through Friday. I get a 1000 dollar check every week. The hours are there for sure !!!
