The holidays every year screw me up for months, and then once I can think clearly again I have to rebuild all my routines from scratch if I can even remember them. And I’m pretty sure it’s because A. it always feels like a compulsion/demand to go, B. The leadup is exhausting because it’s like a doctors visit at the end of the day, it just never leaves your mind until it happens keeping you constantly anxious and unable to get anything done, and C. Having to mask for multiple days on end and not having a way to leave or recuperate while there

Sometimes it's hard for me to get what's in my head, out of my mouth correctly, so I over talk, thinking, 'I'll just say it every way can think of, hoping one version will be understood, finally. Then I watch your shorts and think, 'That's Exactly what I'm trying to say!' I'm gonna just start keeping your shorts saved, and just play the ones I need to get across what I'm trying to say when I'm too flustered and start feeling like I'm speaking a different language, and see if that helps. Thank you for doing these. It's so frustrating, sometimes. So thank you so much for what ya do!

It's so difficult to have a relationship with a self proclaimed Autistic person. Feels like a relationship that is all give for me.
