This tutorial was recorded on Minecraft Bedrock 1.21. If Java is not mentioned in the title or description, then I have NOT tried this out on Java. But if Java is mentioned, then I have tested this (or someone else has) and it works fine.

can you bring 2 villagers in and give them a bunch of food and wait for them to reproduce and grow?, I will probably take longer but I personally hate getting villagers into a specific area and would prefer to just give them a lot of food and forget about it.

If its not working for anyone make sure the villagers can access the beds that worked for me

Does the block on the left matter if its smooth stone or not?

Do you need 20 villagers or can you have just 10

I have followed the tutorial perfectly and yet, ironically golems do not spawn. I keep spawning cats, but no golem. How can I fix this?

Edit:
I added a bell and rang it. I also added a zombie in a boat above the villagers and the iron golems started spawning. I also added leaves underneath the beds.
