How to Build the Easiest Iron Farm in Minecraft 1.21

In this video, I show you how to build an easy iron farm for Minecraft 1.21+ Java edition! This Iron golem farm is so easy to build you can build it on the first day! Just grab a zombie and a few villagers and you'll have iron pumping into your chests fast!

to add some stuff, that i learned from testing, be wary of water near the iron farm, golems can spawn near and then walk in it, so if you can, dont do it near a river, second, is to cover the dirt around the farm with path dirt, so that golems spawn in the pool more often, third is that villager will need sleeps once for a few days the farm is active, if not, the farm kinda got into a halt.

❗️IMPORTANT!❗️

For those whose Iron Golems are spawning outside the farm instead of the killing chamber, all you need to do is turn the grass blocks into path blocks with a shovel to prevent Iron Golems from spawning outside the killing chamber.

If anyone’s having trouble here’s some quick solutions. If you’re placing them near rivers or cave systems, then fill up the cave systems/river in a 16x16 radius around the villagers as well as making the grass blocks path blocks. Set up buttons along the top wall of the kill chamber as well as on top of the block of the kill chamber (if you replaced the grass. You can also use fences, iron bars, glass, etc, on top of the kill chamber blocks) then path out 9 blocks around the kill chamber in every direction to make a big rectangle. Iron farm should work super efficiently after :) 👍🏽

found that the golems phase into blocks when they spawn near the edge of the kill box near the lava not sure if anyone else has this problem. best way to circumvent this is to just place magma blocks on the edges down 3 blocks and on the floor (magma floor blocks are not necessary but they make things go faster) of the kill box.

2:01 you guys can also wait for nighttime and place the beds where the villagers will go sleep into them and fall.. make sure the bottom half is over the hole to do this

There are farms that go into the air so if there are a lot of holes around where u wanna build the farm go look for those and DO NOT try to make this work by giving yourself a headache

For those having the problem where the golem spawns in the dirt, I found that replacing all the blocks in a line on the side where the hopper is prevents the golem from spawning too close to the wall and then getting pushed in it by the water

Very good design, it even works in close proximity to other villagers. It was only after I'd fully built it that I realised it being right next to my villager trading hall might break it, but it doesn't seem to affect it at all and golems spawn in the water and funnel into the lava like normal.

I'd also recommend putting a fence post or glass pane over the hole where the chest is. This'll stop you falling in accidentally and you can still open the chest through the gaps.

If iron golems are spawning outside of the killing chamber make sure to flatten everything nearby because I thought it was just for convience but it is so the iron golems spawn where you want them to

If anyone is not getting many spawns of iron golem just place leaves in the radius of 16 blocks or make a radius of 16 blocks of path using a shovel

btw if their is a cave near by the iron farm it will not work u would need to patch up the cave and also if the golems are spawing outside the watter and lava make a 16x16 path dirt around it

I just built this in my hardcore World It was very easy to build I just had hard time get my Villages into the hole. I now have a iron farm. It working great so far. Ty for the Tutorial. I'm sorry for any spelling and grammar mistakes I Have dyslexia lol

if you want to make this to get mobs, get in the center of the farm of the water and sky bridge up and destory blocks under and box yourself in and at night time mobs will go into the water and into the lava which gives you a mob farm aswell(baby zombies wont die to the lava but the iron goloms will kill the zombie whilst in the lava)
