SIMPLEST Bedrock Iron Farm EVER?

This could be the Simplest Iron Farm for Minecraft Bedrock Edition EVER. You could build it in your first few days in the game!

In today's Episode of Minecraft Farm Tutorials, with Avomance, I am showing you how to build an INSANELY EASY Minecraft Iron Farm 1.19 for Bedrock Edition that works so well it will give you approx 300-350 Iron Per hour for just digging a hole in the ground!

Forget all this building up high, collecting lots of resource and working for days and days... This can be done in your first few Minecraft days!

AND you can adapt it into a Minecraft Mob Farm too!! I tell you how in the video!

This Iron Farm is for Minecraft BEDROCK Edition... this will NOT work in Minecraft Java Edition I am afraid, but there is a great Minecraft Java Edition Iron Farm right here if you would like it:

This works incredibly well too - and gives you around 500 Iron per hour

You need Iron in Minecraft... its the centre of SO MANY things you build and use!
This Iron farm will keep you in as much Iron as you could need! Whats great is you just build it and go about your business.
As long as the chunks are loaded, it will keep on producing you Iron and Poppies (and the occasional string!)

I’ve made this farm a couple times. Both times I had issues with small caves in the area that trapped both iron golems and “broke” the farm. The fix is easy but can be time consuming.

Count 16 blocks out from every side of the farm including below the farm. This 37x37x28 area - with the farm centered and aligned with the surface - covers the max distance golems can spawn from the farm. It’s needs to be solid (no voids) so the only place they can spawn is in the farm. The easiest way to find and fill voids in this space is to dig to the bottom of the cube and use the boat X-ray glitch. You’ll see voids and can dig your way to them to fill them.

I think the difference between using loom vs fletching table, fletcher will work at night and when it's raining.

Worked great for my Xbox Bedrock world. I had 5 and a half stacks of carrots and the villagers bred so quickly. Only had to eliminate one nitwit. Golems started spawning before the farm was complete, so I definitely won't complain about the rates. Thanks for the tutorial! :)

built this design a few weeks ago, still works fine. make sure to tame 5 cats so more dont spawn. and it generally seems slow or like it isnt working but if you just afk and leave for a while, you will have alot of iron coming back.

Great. Works exactly as shown if you follow the directions. The only modification I am attempting is to dig down to the villager level plus eight blocks further down (6 blocks lower than the original 11), two blocks away from the farm edge, to see if there are caves down there and fill them with dirt.

Note about villagers.
If you give them a boat, they will always jump in it. Villagers love boat rides.

I found that pre-cutting a one block wide channel (Edit: make it three blocks wide, makes it easier) from the village to the farm site makes transportation in boats easy. You can also drag boats uphill if you put water down the hill first.

Note about cats I learned while modifying and improving my farm:
We all know about "the mob cap".
What seems to be largely unknown is that there is more than one mob cap.

Cats are a 'passive' mob, like villagers and the farm animals.
Golems are a 'neutral' mob.
The cap is different for both, and they don't conflict. Neither of these mob types interferes with the spawning of 'aggressive' mobs, which is the mob cap we're all familiar with.
Yes, according to what I've read, you could have an entity cramming cow/chicken farm running right next to a mob loot farm. They shouldn't interfere, at least in unmodified single player.
On realms or private servers, the rules might differ.

Let the cats spawn. Turn them into string.

Can confirm this farm works on the newest version of bedrock and while it outputs quite a bit lower than JC's farm it is much easier to build as it costs less resources and takes up much less space

First design that I actually got to work, thank you! Actually pretty easy to set up not many resources needed and the two villagers weren’t hard to get in there with boats and they bred quick with just a couple stacks of bread thrown at them

It worked!!! Thank you soooo much!!!
At first it didn't work.
We were trying to figure out why it didn't work, so we did that:

1. Do a copy of the world
2. In the copy of the worls, go in spectator mode
3. Give yourself night vision potion in the command chat
4. You might find a cave where your golems are spawning!!!

For us the golems were spawning in a tiny tiny cave near. We patched it and now it works fine!

why are iron goloms spawning out side of it, it was working fro a while then they started spawning above where they normally spawn

the farm isnt working for me and i did everything and im on bedrock i did make it close to water and they were spawning in water so i patched it up so they cant spawn there and now they are mot spawning in the hole

3:26 you can use 60 breads instead of 6 stacks of carrot!❤😅
