Hey Hunter! I just wanna say you’re a really cool person. Very thoughtful, gentle, hardworking, knowledgeable, and humble. And none of that has to do with your age. You’re great! Also thanks for these reminders that videos are coming, I find them really useful. Have a great day!

Aren’t green anoles crazy smart? I thought I saw an article about their intelligence. Smart animals always take extra work imo. They need to be stimulated, and need a lot of enrichment.

When you make your "best pat reptiles" video, it is going to be difficult to avoid using the typical beginner, intermediate, advanced categories. A Chameleon or maybe certain venomous snakes can make great pets for advanced keepers, but not beginners.
A thought would be to make a beginners video about the top 5 reptiles you never thought would make great beginner pets. Its a little different take and can introduce people to something other than the typical Leo, Crestie, hognose, etc. beginner pets. Again, just a thought. I am glad to see your SD appearance is leading to more subscribers and views. Your experience as a teenager fills a really neat and important demo niche.

I’ve been keeping reptiles for 26 years and I keep coming back to corn snakes. They’re easy to keep, come in lots of colors, and I really enjoy keeping them.

Now I've never owned any reptiles, but I love learning me a thing or two! I love how you present the facts in this video. It's quite professional and feels quite unique to you! I certainly learned a lot, haha! Keep up the good work, my dude! Much love 💛

I voted for you in the snake discovery! I loved your tank and what you represent!

I think you're awesome! Thanks for shedding light on these guys. I have seen anoles getting terrible care and it breaks my heart. It's like putting a goldfish in a tiny fish bowl with stagnant water. Sad. I personally love green iguanas but I couldn't care for one at this point in my life. THANK YOU for calling attention to aquatic turtles as well.

I was definitely one of those little kids that got a green anole bc that's what they told my parents would be easy. It seemed pretty miserable and I remember being disappointed because it was always brown and I couldn't really interact with it. Then I randomly let it go and it lived in our backyard for years, so I guess it got a happy ending.

This was a super informative video! I honestly thought cobras and other venomous snakes would be on the list but I can't disagree with your picks. Keep up the great work!

#1 toss up between crocodiliand and venomous snakes.

Great job, Hunter!
Best pet reptile... Rosy Boa! Small size. Placid. Slow moving. Good eaters. Adorable! Traditionally overlooked by the hobby.

My first reptile was a bullsnake. His name is Sally. He's a great eater, active and he is very sweet though we do hold him often. I think that they are incredible first pets as long as you're able to give them a big enough tank.

Great video Hunter, and I totally 100% agree with your 5 picks! Honestly those 5 you chose are definitely not suitable pets for most people, are the majority of people underestimate the amount of time, space and money it takes to properly care for things like Iguanas, aquatic turtles, crocodilians etc... and then they end up seriously neglected or improperly cared for. This was really helpful and informative and i hope this video helps educate people into make smarter choices.👍

If I had to add anything I’d probably add highly venomous snakes, but then again you could probably make an entire separate video on just that topic alone 😉

Your knowledge and professionalism at your age is super impressive! I’m 18 and wouldn’t be able to do what you do, keep it up! :)
