"Personal log, captain Galen, southern fleet bomber command. Last week we hit Altzerri; the imps have been using it to stage their attacks their too long now, and so we put a stop to it. The fleet cleared the orbit of enemy space stations, then the ground troops moved in mopped up resistance with the help of the locals. I was surprised how easy the attack was until what appeared to be several imperial fleets hit Manaan and Cato Nemoidia. We responded and cleared them out, but it goes to show the empires starting to get itself together and hit us. Other than that, I received word we'll be receiving a couple new carriers specifically for my bombers, so thats- Hey, Gwinn, what have I told about not barging in here during my- WHAT?! You're sure? And it went north, not south!? Ugh, God damnit... alright, get Howl and Blade squadrons on the horn, get them over here right away, I want that sensor data ready to analyze in under an hour!"

Shack the executor had 4 shield generators, the last was on the command bridge, it had another subsystem next to it which is probably how you missed it

How did Shack not take that Executor out? He had a whole squadron of A-Wings.

Rogue Squadron Journal
Week 183 - Iridonia
Lt. Witton Bogre - Rogue 4

If three weeks ago things were going sideways for the Rebellion, it has now turned in favor of the Empire. It appears that despite Rogue Squadron's best efforts over the last year to hamper the Empire's construction efforts, work on the executor project has been finally completed. Thanks to information provided by a former high ranking imperial engineer whom Rogue Squadron aided in the defection of at Yaga Minor, we were warned of it's imminent release. She also provided detailed specifics on the status of the Conqueror Project as well. All of these projects have been ordered by the Emporer himself to halt our advance into the Core and ultimately throw us out.

To make matters worse this new offensive has already begun. With coordinated attacks on multiple fronts from Cato to Ord Mantell our already battered fleets are finding it difficult to keep up. The good news though is that most of those attacks have been repelled by the sacrifices of many brave rebels. One noticeable exception however was the SSD we were warned about that spearheaded the attack on Ord Mantell. Cutting off General Kota and trapping General Rieekan on Ord Mantell. Our fleet can't compete against that monster in the traditional sense. I don't envy Alliance Command in figuring out how to take that thing down.

One thing I do know is that regardless of the strategy involved Rogue Squadron will be the ones leading the charge. I just wish we had Wedge back. We could really use his leadership right now.

Shack, I dont know if you saw this but in the unit card for the SSD it says: "Can not retreat from tactical battles."

Thats important for you to know when you decided to take this monster on! I'm really excited to see the Executor on the field and I can't wait to see how you deal with it!

You should trap or bait the Executor to a planet that has an ion cannon, and then with a very fighter-heavy fleet attack it. Quasars, h-wings, b-wings, plenty of y-wings and some x-wings to deal with the enemy fighters. I don’t think you should really bring in any real cruisers because they would be deleted, but maybe a few ships sneaking behind it would be good.

I like how you have just held Piett on Zhar for most of this campaign. I just hope he doesn't turn into the executor behind your lines

I love how the built one executor and immediately went, you know what? How about another one

INTEL. Shack the Empire has completed an SSD. They are now working on a second SSD. That's why the timer a few episodes ago said 30 minutes. They were building TWO simultaneously. You MUST reinforce your navy.

I loved the little moment of panic at the end. Things are officially serious.

There is a 4th shield generator on the super star destroyer. It is located at the bridge.
