I have to agree that Senegalese jollof rice is the best. 2 years ago, my husband and I went to a jollof festival in NYC. We had the opportunity to taste jollof rice from 20 different countries. Each Chef was the winner of their respective country. Senegalese did not win (they got 2nd place) but it was my favorite, and the favorite amongst my friends.

Love this dish. Took me years of trial and error to recreate after a YouTube video 😂 I had used palm oil and the “hoin” probably spelling that wrong 😂 But the crunchy part of the rice at the bottom of the pot is key for me! So delicious. Thanks for sharing 🥰
