I must warn you, I am not sure that the power consumption on the new Ryzen processor displayed correctly on the monitoring, in all games this value was exactly 88 W, which is very strange....

I like how you chose the time for each benchmark and show us the average final result after each run. Great job.

expected better performance from the new AMD processors😔

AMD are in luck Intel f'ed up so much right now, otherwise this would have been a major disaster.

No point in buying, wait for 9800x 3D

So my 13600K it can keep up with the 9600x as well. Beauty...
Quite a disappointment from AMD.
Between the 7700x and the 9700x it seems to me that there is no difference at all.

intel 8 games win & amd only 2 games win

It seems that the 9700X is routinely 5-10% slower than the 14700K, and this is due almost entirely to the 88-watt power limit AMD set for the processor.

BEST CHANNEL EVER!
Thanks for showing that Hogwarts Legacy can run really well at 16GB RAM
I always thought that for my new computer I should get more RAM
DDR5 is really expensive here in Brazil right now, but I can start at 16GB in peace and upgrade later when I can

Did you make the comparison by installing the BETA update on the Intel motherboard? This is the data we are interested in. Thanks and like.

Pretty similar fps with both CPU’s. I was actually surprised that the wattage between the two very very close in some of the games

88 watts to do what the i7 is doing at 125 watts? Insane

The power consumption is interesting. The 9700X always consumes like 85-90W consistently. On the other hand, the 14700K consumes either less, and sometimes, even more than the 9700X, makimg it either more effeciwnt or less.

9700x is held back with its own TDP. It's almost the same fps with half of it's cores as compared to intel.

I have seen it in some 7700 vs 7700X test as well, the 7700 is locked to 88W in many games, its an AMD thing when they cap power they just let the cpu clock as high as it can at that power cap.
so in games that the 7700X hoover around 90-110W the 7700 is locked to 88W and lose like 200-400MHZ, if the game is not heavy they both use the same power for about the same clocks.
the *9700X* just act more like the 7700 than the 7700X.
in few games u can see the 7700X and 7700 use less then 88W but the 9700X still use 88W so sometimes its less efficient then 7700 O_O

The R7 9700X runs cool and efficient at 88 watts—but it’s also serving up low FPS! 😄

Weird. As an Intel guy I’m always use to seeing the AMD fanboys point out that AMD is better than Intel yet in all but I think 2(?) tests the i7 smashed the AMD one.
