Saw the 265KF for sale at $229 at MC, might be something to consider now over the $290 9700X or even the 9700F at $250 if it comes out!

It looks like core ultra isn't worse than amd, but x3d is too strong than any intel series

265k using less power and runs cooler. Good job Intel. 👍

Idk. Core ultra looks good to me. It has the same gaming performance and doubles the productivity workloads.

AMD sometimes running 20 degrees hotter is crazy man.

Popping in and literally out of the blue tree branches in Stalker and flying Roach in Witcher 😂 Roach never flew for me once through three playthroughs 😢

You do great tests, I would like to see more processor tests from you, thank you.

Core ultra 5 and 7 is the most underrated cpu actually. Same us a 14600k and 14700k. 7800x3d cost on my county 580dolars, and 9800x3d over 750... its crazy...

There was a patch for cyberpunk which imporved performance by 30%

So, take away all the fanboy fvckery, you could buy either one of these CPUs and in a blind test, you'd never know which was which and you'd have a great, high framerate experience with either.

Would be really interesting seeing a retest, as both are at the same price in Germany at the moment. 289€.

It is clear that both processors are very competent, with the AMD processor being slightly more powerful than the Intel processor, however the AMD processor consumes more and runs a little hotter. Whichever one you buy is fine, they are good products, what would determine the purchase decision would be the price. An Intel 7 Core Ultra 265K for $375 seems expensive to me, and that doesn't take into account the price of the mobos. Intel has it tough and the prices complicate the situation even more.

Still can't understand fanboyism... AMD leads in the gaming sector at the moment, Intel will come back... it will always be like that. Just go for the CPU you can afford and meet your needs, isn't that simple?

in my country 9700x cost $260 tray and ultra 7 cost $440. definitely go for 9700x for my new system

The 265k i available for just 315€ in Europe right now.

The only downside compared to the 9700x when using it for gaming is the much higher PL 2.

I know it doesnt use much of the 250W when gaming, but because of the PL2, you either need to change the PL in the Bios, or you are forced to buy a bigger PSU to prevent unexpected shutdowns, in case some weird background application or browser tab want to use the maximum CPU power.

Maybe a retest with all the "fixes" for 265K?

Can you explain why Intel 265K is working at 5200mhz? It should be at 5500MHZ. When you can explain it you can justify why they are so even. If you are cutting the power of Intel it is normal that the other one is so close. More than anything I say this because I have this processor and it is normally at 5.500GHZ

hehe anyway I still choose Intel instead of AMD because I enjoy it just that=))
