It's so sad how everyone is hating on Clara! Personally I thought she was an incredible character. She was a female companion; strong and flawed and totally human unlike some of the romanized characters is the past. She had a career and strong true relationships outside of her life with the doctor. She was one of the most realistic companions the show has had. She had emotions and acted in a way a normal human would in her situation. We all to crazy things under the influence of love and grief. Yes, she was a dominant part of the series! She was a massive part in mending the broken doctor and she wasn't a whimpering female that media sometimes likes to portray women. She was noble and feisty, and flawed. Yes it is only a TV show, but why cant people just sit back and appreciate how dimensional her character was! One of the most developed characters in the show so far! Don't mean to ramble but I wish people would just appreciate how strong of a female companion she is/ was.

So, because of your utter stupidity: Missy dies, Osgood dies, Clara leaves, Danny dies (again), you see Matt Smith on screen for a second AND Captain Jack returns and snogs the Doctor. not sure what to think of santa being in doctor who. probably gonna be some alien that only kids can see or something like that. it was funny that he appeared during the credits, but it also ruined the moment of taking in all that information that we got from the series finalle

I don't think an episode like this could ever work as a concept for Doctor Who...
UNLESS you cast Nick Frost as Santa Claus, then you've got yourself a killer! ;)

(And for those YouTube users who are rather lacking in the brain (which in all fairness, is a majority of you), yes I do realise Nick Frost is playing Santa Claus in this episode, that is the entire point of this comment, thank you)

That finale was the best finale since Journey's End. For once, Moffat tied everything up perfectly and didn't magically bring any characters back to life. Looking forward to Christmas, even if I'm slightly worried it'll be badly executed like the Robin Hood episode.

I'm sorry but can we just take a moment to appreciate that Nick Frost... is Santa Claus... in Doctor Who... with an alien threat! Now all we need is Simon Pegg to play one of his elves and have the alien be voiced by Seth Rogen!!
