Keeping it on the Lowside | Surly Bikes

The Lowside is the bike that gets you across town for a quick rip on some singletrack, then over to the bar for a night out. Went to a Surly event before COVID started in 2020, came away with a Koozie and realized I needed an actual Surly BIKE. Over the next couple of months, I researched what I wanted out of a bike and came across the Lowside. It's been a killer bike for me over these past 9 months and I've taken it everywhere, over everything and put nearly 1000 miles on and just upgraded it with a 1x9. Always get compliments, especially on the fatties!

Not loving the bent fork, but I like the overall theme of the bike. I actually had to pause for a second and think, "Hmmm...should I get this instead of the Karate Monkey?" No I shouldn't, but I still would have fun on one of these.

I love my lowside but I have to ask, Why tf would you put provisions for an internal dropper cable on the seattube but no cable routing on the downtube for it? I get why you'd do one or the other but both just wrecks my head
