in every uw video I watch they talk about how bad the weather is.... I’m from southeast alaska & we get double the rain per year Seattle does, sounds like a dream

#1 pro: moving out of your parent’s house

I recommend buying your full-spectrum lighting (minimum 90 CRI!) before the winter, and getting twice as much as you need! If you turn your whole living room into a giant light therapy box, you won't need a light therapy box.
The campus is famously beautiful!
Seattle attracts a lot of intelligent people and a lot of liberals, which may turn off some people, but I like that.
If you're sick, one of the best medical facilities in the world is on campus.
The reputation and standing of the UW grows rapidly these days!

Thats so dumb that they wont let you into the major you want... What do they expect? That someone who has their heart set on engineering is going to be like "oh well, i guess i will just study english literature instead??" obviously that person is going to switch to another school that will provide them the engineering degree

Respectfully, most native Washingtonians don’t have problems with the weather. It’s pretty easy to tell who is a native and who isn’t by how they dress.
