I felt so relieved to hear she’s not getting the sandwich. I hate when entitled people get what they want

My first time flying alone, I accidentally took seat D and not C, nice older woman came up to me and said “It seems you have your seats mixed up dear” I checked and said “Oh sorry, you’re right, I can move”

She replied “No need hun, we both get aisle seats, I’ll take yours”

Super nice of her 🥰

When space allows, flight attendants have upgraded passengers who are victims of Karens.

This happened to me on a flight to california. We had a connecting flight in Texas and I see I have a window seat and start making my way there but there’s already a lady sitting in my seat. I tell her that is my seat and all she says is “ do you really want me to move” I said forget it since it’s only a 3 hour flight. But while I’m sitting there she is the most inconsiderate seat partner. She takes my arm rest, removes the shoes and let’s her nasty sweaty feet hang out. She sees I’m trying to sleep and opens the window letting a ton of light in, but doesn’t even watch the sky. Anyways, after we land I decided I wasn’t gonna leave from my seat until every other person got off that flight. So she had to sit behind me and wait. She even said to me “ I have a connecting flight” and all I said was oh cool me too and sat there and waited

Something similar happened to me once, and I found a guy sitting in my seat (which I had paid for extra space). A nearby flight attendant noticed and tried to get him to move, but he refused, gave her a song-and-dance about having a bum leg, etc. and started getting louder. Noticing the flight attendant was getting flustered, I told her it wasn't worth it, and offered to exchange my seat for his. It turned out to be a rather cramped middle seat somewhere, not pleasant at all. But I said I'd do it, so I sat down without complaint. About ten minutes later, once nearly all the flight was seated and doors about to lock, that same flight attendant came rushing back to fetch me, and moved me to the first class section. I had not asked, but she was appreciative of my gesture and thought I deserved the upgrade. Sometimes it pays to be nice.

Flight Attendants know how to be savage while resolving an issue at the same time.

Had this happen to me once. I left my things on a seat and went to the restroom. When I came back, my things were moved and a group of women took my seat. I told them I was sitting there; they feigned ignorance, said they didn’t know and wanted to sit together. I told them they moved my things and would like my seat back. They continued to try to manipulate the situation, but I stood my ground. Everyone on the plane thought I was a bitch, but I knew these women were the kind to play victims to bully people into getting what they wanted. Some guy offered his seat to them so they can all sit together. If they had not moved my things and asked me nicely instead of lying and being pushy, I would have given them my seat. 😂

It is actually important to keep your seat, especially if you need to be identified following a plane crash.

Happened to me recently. I didn't engage the guy. Just double-checked my ticket, told the flight attendant, and said I was happy to sit at any other aisle seat available.
2 minutes later I got a better seat.

If a passenger didn’t choose a seat when booking, they’re assigned one at check-in. Tickets don’t lie! Karen’s sure do.

"She's not getting that ice cream sandwich" is the best closing line to one of these ever.

This happened to me when I was on a trip to Paris, France. I was ariund 16 at the time, turning 17 in a week. My mom and I were boarding the plane when we got to our seats and saw some people there. I had sat in my seat already but some old French lady took her seat. My mom had tried to get her seat back and proved that they were supposed to be in the very back of the plane, but the primarily French crew weren't doing anything about it. The old lady even tried to force me out of my seat so her friend could sit down. After 20+ minutes of arguing the flight staff took us up to business class while they were stuck in economy. To date the best flight I've had. I still have the travel kit they gave me, as well as the pillow and blanket I accidentally stole.

As a flight attendant, I can confirm This happens more often than you think, but with entire families. More than once I’ve heard stories of fist fights among passengers from my colleagues

(Specially Moroccan)

I was accompanying a friend's 8 year old daughter to her grandparents across the country. Little girl's father was in a bad accident and was going to be in the hospital for a few months so the grandparents offered to have her stay with them.. Really nice people.

They paid for my ticket in exchange, I got a flight (I love to fly) and a free week's vacation in Montana at the GP's ranch...win win win.

Flight started out great, got thru TSA quickly, Darla is a great kid and easy to travel with. Somewhere over Kansas, I get up to use the bathroom and come back to find some guy sitting next to Darla. My creep radar is buzzing and I'm trying to keep calm when an Attendant approaches me about sitting down. I show her my ticket (always keep your ticket with you), she tells the man that he needs to move back to his seat but he refuses saying "he and Darla are getting to know each other"... Attendant goes to get help, but come back to find that me, along with a couple other passengers have this creep on the floor.

Had a delay at DIA giving statements to the cops. Fortunately, Darla's mom had provided me with the legal documents showing I was authorized to watch over her daughter. I bought Darla a soft serve and we caught the next flight out to Helena. I swear, you can't even leave a kid alone for two minutes on a plane before some groomer jumps on them.
