If I'm being honest I watch almost all of your videos when I'm definitely supposed to be doing work I say "Wow that's cool! I should do that" while simultaneously not doing what I should.

Coming from someone that has tried the method before: it was hard.

When you put a timer to a question or task you know that's the limit you can spend on the said thing, sometimes (for me... *math* ) you get really into the problem and does not see time passing, therefore the timer will go off and you're not finished - or you'll look at the clock and boom, it's passed the time. Personally it made me so frustrated I'd cry sometimes, made it hard to do things on time because the repetition of this events got my self-trust to the ground and even harder to get on track since I now avoided the clock.

Not to say that rushing may lower the quality of your task and end up getting you a lower grade.

I get the appeal and will try again to see if anything changes this time, it sounds like a great way to prepare for tests since they have a strict time.

I always do this and it works until I start to procrastinate and not do anything until 2 minutes are left on the timer.

Tried this today, I am horrible with procrastinating and it actually helped me. My main issue is when it comes to thinking about what to do next(I am a game dev) and today I was able to get 1-3x the work I normally do. Thank you.

Ik you typically put this out for seniors in highschool and collage students but i am over here in grade 11 watching all your videos back to back because im so scared about school starting
