This is actually a better example of how shutter speed affects video than stills. 24 frames per second 1/50th sec exposure interval in the cinematic standard. Video camcorders use 30 frames per second. Both create some blur which matches the perception by eye. As frame rate increases and shutter duration decreases note how the movement the action freezes and the hands become jittery looking.

A better example for stills would be a subject like a water fall / rapids or shot of her running across the frame with camera panning to keep her composed in the same plane which creates a non-distracting blurred background and streamer effect behind subject at conveying movement at slow shutter speeds

it's good you are shooting outside and bright too. But you should add also the ISO that is inversely proportional to the Shutter Speed.
