The fact that these videos are free to watch is insane if you think about it... People out here selling photography courses not even giving 20% of the quality you put out there.

I used to work as a portrait photographer....for many years. I learned that the shutter should be about the same as the focal length. Not for me!! I'm all there with double it! :D I often used studio strobes, then it's not that important. But again, great video. :)

Awesome, Is shutter 2X the frame rate, or 2X the lens length?

so if I understand correctly; for product photography in a studio; put the camera on a tripod and go for the highest shutterspeed cause why not?

This is kind of basic for me. But it is one h*ll of a video! :)

Just to clarify:
1. When doing video, I should keep the shutter speed 1/48 if doing a 24 fps
2. When doing photography, I should keep the shutter speed twice the size of lens focal distance? So if I have a lens of 30mm for APS-C camera, my shutter speed should be 1/60 minimally?

Great stuff! my a6700 is displaying shutter speed as numbers and decimals (48.0-4098.4), not fractions. Is there a way to change this?
