The belly button is basically the umbilicus, we call it. It is a reservoir or dead cells. We wash our body on a regular basis with soap and water, but in the belly button there is no sloughing of the skin, the dead skin is accumulating in the nooks and cervices. So there is a grow of the anaerobic bacteria over here. That is why when it is not cleaned very regularly, the umbilicus tend s to smell. So some of us have clean umbilicus which doesn’t have nooks and crevices. So you might not have the same curvatures in your umbilicus like another person has. So remember whenever you are having a bath, you have to make sure that you clean it very gently with a towel and apply some soap and water and remember to rinse out the umbilicus and then keep it dry. You can also use a cotton bud and use an antibiotic cream like mupirocin cream and apply it to prevent the formation of bacterial residue there especially if you are prone for getting repeated smelling discharge form the umbilical area. If you feel that it keeps on coming ad if there is a secretion, there might be some sinus formation or there might be some problem here, where the skin has become irritated and you need to see either a dermatologist or a surgeon to make sure that you don’t need an oral antibiotic to tackle this problem.

I watched your video and I just want to let you know your remedy worked for me. I live in USA and I went to several doctors for my stinky belly but no one actually gave me the actual remedy. They told me to clean my belly with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Mine had fluff and became moist so I had to keep washing it and still find fluff though, at least it doesn't sting anymore

One time years ago I was sitting on the edge of my bed and I smelted this horrific odor, so I thought I was just stinky because I hadn’t had a shower yet. So I shower come back to my room to dress sit on the side of the bed again and still smelled an odor. I stuck my pinky in my belly button it felt moist and I pulled it out it had white-greenish pus was on it. I squeezed my belly button and more pus came out. It felt like something was in there, so I got a pair of tweezer to see what was in my belly bUtton. I pull out a feather the quill had pierced the wall if my belly button. I had recently got a down filled duvet and feather must if came out and lodged inside my belly button.

Right now I am having too much secretion from my belly button and boils started creating inside the place. I am pouring a drop of raw betadine at night. And for 2/3 times I am washing the place with warm water and betadine. Is the secretion and boils going to stop with it? Please help me... Am i following a correct procedure??

If the person is fat then navel will get dirty easily. More deep the skin more germs will be present inside the navel. I know it because I am also fat 😂😂.

wait is this any kind of infection and do it ahppend on other pats of the body i was worried like alot at first like brain ham and other like yeast infection but than i just washed it off daily and it recovered but after some days it happend inside my bely button like i am worried ALOT
