I knew I was only going to have one child because I was 42. I rocked my child to sleep every night, no regrets . He slept through the night at 2 months . I think babies having their own rooms is the key . Your little guy is so adorable !

My late husband and I were blessed. Emma-Grace slept thru the night right when we brought her home. My mom was telling us she's such a good baby but you'll get payback when she's a teenager. Mom hit the nail on the head!! The longest most overly dramatic 8 years of my life. ❤😂❤

We kept our newborn bassinets, (twins) in the living room with all the noises ever since we brought them home from the hospital. After they outgrew their bassinets we let them nap in the pack and play things. Wherever it was the noisiest. I could be running the vacuum and they wouldn’t wake up. By the time we transitioned to the cribs our twins could sleep through an earthquake. We were so blessed. Our babies slept through the night at a very young age. We broke the rules and also nestled them on their sides even though it was against the rules. Our pediatrician told us that as our Dr he couldn’t recommend that but as a parent of a baby the same age as our twins he told us he did the same thing!

In my 59 years of living I learned that there are morning people and there are nocturnal people. Those morning, go to bed early, wake up early with high energy and usually happy people. Those nocturnal, stay up all hours of the night, sleep until late in the day, usually low energy and groggy and grumpy. I'm not certain if you can construct or change one's demeanor or sleep patterns and behavior affected by their sleep or lack thereof. I'm an early to bed early to rise who could never get more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep. In fact, if I get too much sleep, I'm very tired throughout the day. Have a great day beautiful people. I have a 27 yr. old niece who has a baby boy who is 1 month younger than Henrique. God gifted them with a 2nd pregnancy (unexpected) and the new baby boy will be born in Sept. I can't imagine how they are going to do things with 2 very young babies! I'm so nervous for them. They just bought a house a few months ago and are kind of far away from everyone that could help them. I know they will have a rough time for the next couple of years, especially because they are still so young and don't have a lot of money. AND they have 2 dogs as well! I pray for them every night. Like you, I'm sure they will figure it out.
