Wildfires in Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Altadena.
Fierce wildfires are raging in the Los Angeles area, fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds, sending residents fleeing from burning homes through flames, ferocious winds and towering clouds of smoke. Thousands of firefighters were battling at least three separate blazes on Wednesday, from the Pacific Coast inland to Pasadena. One of the fires was the most destructive in the modern history of the city of LA. The strong winds had temporarily stopped aircraft from dumping water from above until they were able to resume flights.

My adoptive father is buried in Glendale California, Forest lawn. I can't tell you how gut wrenching it is to watch where you grew up and where your beautiful loved one is buried, to be surrounded and threatened by insane devastation. To think of all the people suffering, all the thousands of properties and land devastated, the animals and memories is beyond words right now.
