I'm not a fan of Taylor at all but I feel like she's telling the truth. The picture is pretty straightforward and the fact that all that evidence was so conveniently lost just makes me believe her more. I don't see why she'd lie...

Reading through the comments, I'm seeing a lot of deplorable responses on the TSwift case with some people saying "she's doing this for attention", "she shouldn't have made it a legal battle" or "she should've called him out there and been done with it".

First of all, once a person has been assaulted, however they choose to react is completely up to them. Furthermore, an outcry/retaliation during an assault is extremely rare.

Secondly, how can Taylor have asked for this when it happened two years ago and HE sued HER first??

Thirdly, any amount of assault on anyone is a big deal and should be looked as such. So what if he "just grabbed her ass"? It's her body and he didn't have permission to touch it. Point blank period. People who think she's overreacting are the main reason why other people think it's no big deal to do and why sexual assault goes mostly unreported.

"I was jumping into the frame."
"It was another guy."
"I felt a rib cage."
"I was being mind controlled by a T-rex."

Yup, this guy's story totally checks out.

I have been through the process of trying to get someone charged for sexually assaulting me, it's an extremely gruelling and daunting process that takes a lot out of you mentally and emotionally. You have to go through so many police interviews, you have to relive what you went through every single time, you have to gather evidence, if you have any, as well as ask any friends or family who know what happened to go through those interviews too. And then, if you managed to make it that far, it's more months yet as the police conduct their investigation and you may go weeks without hearing a thing. If you're lucky, the case goes to court. If you're luckier, the case isn't thrown out the day before you're supposed to be in court.

I had to take a year off school just so I could recover, because my depression and anxiety got so bad, and I didn't get to see my abuser brought to justice.

If Taylor Swift, or any person, is willing to go through this entire process, then they must be telling the truth, or they are very dedicated to telling their lie.

Why would Taylor lie about that? This stuff happens to girls all the time, Taylor is just in a position where she doesn't need to take any more shit from anyone.

I had Norovirus once. Worst experience of my life. Non-stop vomiting and diarrhea. Couldn't keep medicine down, couldn't sleep, almost ended up at the hospital. It was the morning of an audition I had for the New England Conservatory of Music. It lasted 24 hours, luckily they allowed me to audition the following day due to extreme circumstances. My abdominal muscles hurt for a week afterwards because the virus ate away at the lining of my stomach. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I've started to notice that Phil really likes to put: "Why people are freaking out..." in the title...

Dissapointed in people saying Taylor wasn't assualted because if she was, she would have called out or slapped his hand away. Actually it's far more common than not for a victim of sexual assault, especially when that assault takes place in public or within the view of others for the victim to freeze. Sometimes from fear, sometimes from shock and other times from just the social pressure not t cause a scene for fear of judgement. A commonly known example of this is the common occurrence in japan of sexual assault on overcrowded trains. In Japan it is seen as very rude to make noise or fuss on public transport which has inadvertently created a safe space for predators. Young girls are often groped and simply let it happen due to embarrassment, shame and outright fear of causing a scene and being judged for doing so. What you're expecting from sexual assault victims is an immediate response but this is a rare reaction, it's far more common for victims to submit to the situation in hopes to just get it over with. Similarly in rape victims they are often asked why didn't you fight more? Why didn't you scream? It's a completely unreasonable and insensitive line of questioning also because unless you are the victim of that specific situation you have no idea how you would truly react. i'm not an SJW by a long shot, i think it's ridiculous that an innocent man can be accused of sexual assault these days for merely saying "you look hot" to a woman, that women are accusing people of "online rape" in video games and classing looks as assault. However, this particular line of questioning is exactly what people are talking about when they say 'victim blaming' To have the courage to come forward and report the crime then to be told no it's not assault because you didn't scream loud enough/ fight hard enough/ react quick enough.

Personally, I think Taylor Swift is telling the truth. The photo and sudden "disappearance" of the evidence is enough for me to believe that she was sexually assaulted. Given her past, some might argue that she's just doing this for the headlines, publicity, etc. but who in the right mind would lie about something as serious as sexual assault for publicity? Hope she wins so that the money can be given towards the charity and they can both move on.

Hey Phil I am from Guam and I wanted to point out how the media is covering more about the military bases here and not about the residents. The location of Guam is the closest US soil to the Korean regime which always puts us at risk. I believe as many will agree that the US is using our island for military purposes, we are US citizens but do not have the power to vote for our president, we have the highest enlistment per capita and the US still does not allow us to have a representative in congress that can vote in house. The bases here take us 1/3 of the island which our residents are barred from entering without being in the military. When we hear the news only talking about the military personnel numbers and not the population of our island this makes the residents feel they have to worry because we feel the US is treating us as "second class citizens" and has little worry for the residents.

As someone who is in Japan right now, here is my concise and very professional statement on the North Korean situation:

North Korea and the USA is like a DBZ episode. A bunch of screaming and powering up for a few episodes before the actual fight.

Phil, as a long time watcher I can say this is amongst your best videos. Your final segment, in my opinion is some of the best journalism you've ever done. You explained what was happening better than I've seen elsewhere while still adding humor. All the while keeping the composure and resilience to show this is a serious ordeal.

I hope to see it continue, sir.
