Tjump does a good job illustrating that the difference between naturalism and theism is whether or not the person is comfortable asking one less "why."

Ad hoc additions to religious arguments are easy to identify.

Here is the one I have been screaming at my phone for the lat 45 minutes:

"everything that begins to exist" was not part of the original kalam cosmological argument. It was an ad hoc addition to overcome the question "if everything had a cause, what caused God?"

What jtump had difficulty explaining was they were added so long ago that today's apologists just take it all for granted.
