We start our day in Swansea city centre where we grab ourselves some fresh off the griddle Welsh Cakes and find one of the city's top rated coffee shops.

We visit some of the city's most famous attractions like the Waterfront Museum, Botanic Garden, Beach and more as well as sampling some delicious Welsh food, exploring one of it's beautiful parks and discovering the ruins of Swansea castle.

I didnt know that I assumed most UK cities had beaches now that I think of it a lot of cities are not on the coastline maybe I took this beach for granted, I take my dog along the coastal path everyday for a walk, glad you guys enjoyed your time here highly recommend the three cliffs bay if you ever visit again, or Tenby in south west wales during the summer it has a mediterranean seaside town vibe colourful pastel houses with 2 golden sand beaches and torqoiuse water

As a local some of the best views can be found on the grounds of the Cefn Coed Hospital. It's on top of the hill of cockett and you can see everything from the city centre to the mumbles.

Imagine Tesco gets its hands on the Welsh cakes, cling film bags, with ribbon 🎗️ cross knots. This place is surprisingly different from everywhere else. I suppose it's the refreshing weather, and atmosphere of community cohesion, that gives it that special feeling. Its a must visit, place for sublime quite, walk. So spacious, and accommodating as well. I am coming round for some Welsh brand cakes. Lol

Thank you for showing my home city in such a fantastic light. Although I've lived here all of my 56 years it made me a tiny bit emotional that you took the time to show it to others across the internet and to be honest you've done a brilliant job. Only downside as you know, one day isn't enough as there is more than the city centre and Singleton Park in Swansea. Only one problem, your pronunciation of Abertawe, it's Aber-t-ow (as in "that hurt") -ee. 😀

The little castles dotted around swansea are Wales Air Ambulance Charity “Castles in the Sky” free summer trail.
If you kept going past Singleton park, you would find Singleton boating lake, after that is Blackpill lido and across the road is Clyne Gardens which is a beautiful walk, and then further along you will get to the mumbles. If you come back to swansea those places are a must. X

Love it when people discover and enjoy Swansea. I went to university there in the late 90s. Really glad you had good weather for your trip. Nice video. And definitely do some Gower and Mumbles next time. Gower beaches are stunning.
