I had this happen at Denny’s. we were a table of seven. Right after we place our orders one of the cooks and two of the servers quit on the spot. It left the manager and one server in the restaurant. Fortunately, for us, we had gotten our meal. After us, they were telling everyone they could only order cold sandwiches or salads we have since then had two more incidences were either servers or cooks walked out.

When managers see others work as beneath them the business starts to crumble. If they want teamwork they need to be willing to WORK with the team.

The mistake for me is...
Don't ever threaten me with a job. It hasn't gone the way they thought it would. As a teenager, a fast food manager tried that. I took off the polyester work shirt and dropped it right on the grill over the burgers, and walked out during the lunch rush.

If the business is run right, the manager should have started at the bottom and worked their way up. Then if any position needs to be filled the manager can jump in at a moments notice.

Great skit but in the real world these ones who stand up for themselves are the ones who get let go the fastest they will always find some way to get rid of you the company will not let you rock the boat thats just the way it works businesses have to find employees who will keep there mouth shut
