Those Gridserve Electric Highway units (at the services) are capable of charging both connectors at 150kW at the same time, but they are currently limited to one connector at 60kW because they replaced 1x 50kW ex-Ecotricity units without upgrading the supply.

GS say they have a project going around upgrading the supply at each location so that the full capabilities can be unlocked, but obviously that's a slow process subject to DNOs, planning permissions, site owners, etc.

Not pressing the start/stop button before getting out is exactly the same as not turning the key to turn your normal car off. The engine/ignition is still on, so I think that’s perfectly normal rather than a quirk!

B button is for regeneration braking… where you charge the batteries each time you ease off the accelerator pedal.

I have Citroen e dispatch and I turn to either gain more miles or loose almost nothing when you drive in Eco mode and B button turned on. … which took me over 2 months to figure out 😢 and wasted £ 💷 due to driving regularly in normal and sport mode with B turned off.

Please stay away from Sport mode as this drains the battery too quickly, it turns the van into a beast, super fast 💨 💨💨

You need to load the rear with the same weight equivalent as your fully loaded vans. Then see what range you get.

on the gear shifter, B is for an agressive regenerative braking, so if you let off the accelerator it will engine brake a lot, so you can literally drive without having to use the brakes, unless you gotta stop fully.
We got a Peugeot Partner and it's kinda the same truck since they're all owned by PSA/Stellantis

B mode in EVs is "battery" mode. It turns the throttle into a combined throttle / brake so that when you back off it'll aggressively use regenerative braking

Had mine since October 2021 and regularly do 180 mile round trips.

You would normally aim to charge up to 80% On a rapid charger. The last 20 slow down considerably. Great van though 👌

Lee and Reubin were at home panicking when Jordan rang.

CCS = Combined Charging System, because CCS contains of a type 2 plug for AC charging and in addition 2 prongs for high power DC charge. So CCS ensures compatibility to both, AC and DC charging.

Nearly all the supermarkets here in southern France have big solar panel covered parking spaces with chargers

B on Stelantis vehicles selects Regen on.
It's not One pedal as you have in a Tesla but it gives you the equivalent of Engine Braking.

I have the Peugeot E-Expert (same van different badge). Real world range varies a lot. Current average efficiency is 2.5 miles per kWh. (Normal mode - rarely use ECO)
Range from 150 to 190 miles but very weather dependent. (75kW battery)

Wind is your worst enemy. It’s as aerodynamic as a brick. In strong headwinds you need to draft behind a truck. Strong Headwinds can lower the range to as little as 130 miles.
Use it at legal van speeds and you get good range. Motorway about 63mph gives best range.
Spec it with the 11kw onboard charger option as I only have the 7kW onboard charger and wish I had upgraded.
The electric doors and keyless ignition are options.
Rear camera option also a great investment. Has 180 degree view when reversing which helps when backing out from a charger.
HUD is great.

This week been to Edinburgh, Hull and Norwich. (1200 miles)
Last month 3000 miles. It goes a long way and charges really well at 97kwh.
Absolutely love it. Comfortable too.

I have found that B mode on my Zoe, is extra battery mode. Where it regenerates where ever it can. It well extends my battery loads. Gets around extra 30%

What are the locks like as tradesmen vehicles are always broken in

You got it for a month?! I asked Vauxhall for an extended test drive of 24hrs and was told "no - test drives are 30-45 minutes". I explained I couldn't make the deicison to swap my Transporter for an electric Vivaro in 45 minutes, but they weren't interested in trying to secure a sale.

CCS - Combined Charging system. The reason being is that the socket in the car accepts AC (type 2) and DC rapid charging. B Mode is Braking mode as in stronger regen. Gridserve are waiting for a software update to allow both plugs to charge at once. Problem is, they have been waiting a year for the update.

My confidence always grows a little in Electric vehicles pretty much every time I watch an Artisan video. I still think we are between 5-10 years until the charging infrastructure becomes more viable, that said things do seem to progress faster these days. Hopefully the Vauxhall will serve you and your business well. If not, maybe try another manufacturer for a month and say it will be featured on YouTube 🤣. That said, I honestly believe your channel really could help promote the right EV van when you find it!

Much better than the P.O.S conversion you have Jordan! Buyers remorse...? Nicely done with the loan of the Vauxhall. And a nice surprise for Rueben.
