So what do YOU think is the best electric car??

Surprised Ioniq 5 didn't make the cut.

Think separate videos for different price levels would make more sense.

I got my EV6 in October.
I fully agree with your comment about "outstanding refinement", the refinement is ASTONISHING. Combined with stunning looks, great assured handling, standard tech, fast charging, acres of interior space for rear passengers, 7 year warranty, it's simply a stunning package.

When you also look at the Top 10 and consider its the cheapest car (by a £6k margin) to do over 300 miles it all seems like a bit of a bargain.

Ioniq 5 gets my vote. Why wasn't it on the list?

I've test driven 14 EVs, the best has been the BMW IX, and I Hyundai Ioniq 5 handles smoothly vs the EV6. and there's no mention of the Ioniq 5 here.

Surprised no Ioniq5, I love mine and more practical than the EV6, with almost the same range and battery chemistry, interior quality, and tech specs?

Prices still too high, ranges still too low. I’m staying petrol for a couple more years.

Ioniq5 is the best currently. Good Cat is by far the best budget EV. Great range and design

Just when you think What Car gets it - they don't - Not everyone wants or needs a car to do 150 miles a day nor does everyone want a 40k car as for every main car there is normally a second car in most families.

So to say the Smart is one to avoid is wrong in my opinion. For context we run two electric cars the family Enyaq and the run around Smart forfour and it does exactly what a run around or second car should do - small trips. Lease cost me £139 on a 1x35 for the smart, it does pretty much the lease mileage of 5k pa (about 20 miles a day) so is plugged in during winter once every two days and in summer once every 4 and the fuel saving against petrol means it costs me about £100 a month to run it

Plus it actually fits in an British compact garage with space to spare, and its clever seating means when its time for a tip run it swallows much more junk than you'd think, finally it drives so so much better than its petrol equivalent. So can it compete with a huge SUV no does it cost as much as a SUV no so why throw it under the bus in the comparison against cars it isn't trying to compete with.

Saying all of that as none of us have time travel devices, so if today I was getting a replacement Id get the up! simply as its cheaper, but the range really isn't a deciding point, as long as it can do the miles in a day we need its fine.

This list makes no sense. Your car of the year came second?!? Ioniq 5 nowhere to be seen yet the id which is often criticised makes it. Also you place the Hyundai badge throughout the video. Looking for reactions.

So where does the excellent handling spacious well made attractive looking Jaguar iPace fit in? It’s fast enough, a joy to drive and very practical car to own. I’ve had mine 3 years it’s been 100% reliable.

I'm done with electric  cars,   I went back to gasoline because  of all hassle associated with electric cars and trucks !  No more for me, I've learned my lesson and my " ELECTRIC  CAR ANXIETY SYNDROME IS GONE " ... Happy days are here again !!

As others have said, your video prices the majority of drivers out of the "Top 10"...
There wasn't a single car at less than £30k - itself, a significant sum to spend on any car.
What about the MG5 - the only 'estate' this side of an £80k Taycan Cross Turismo... great space... great range... very comfortable... and a 7 year warranty.

Imagine having top 10 electric vehicles and not including the IONIQ 5 😂

No ioniq 5, polestar 2, or Mach-e? Wild. What a whiff of a list. EVs are expensive but this is why people think they’re prohibitively so.

Can't afford all of these cars, so no good for me. The most expensive car I have every bought (till last year) is £13, 000. I live in the real world.
